Structural Consultant to a number of Public Sector and Private sector organisations. The

assignments undertaken include

1. Design of Aircraft Hangar 150 x 60 m at Munich Airport for Lufthansa AG and a NATO

Airbase at Manching, Germany.

2. Design of Shell and Folded Plate Roofs in the Atomic Power Plant, Kalpakkam; St. Mary’s

Church at Udumalpet; Cochin Sports Stadium; L&T(ECC ) etc.,

3. Development of design for prestressed concrete sleepers for RDSO, Lucknow ( Ministry of

Railways).

4. Know-how of Production Technology for manufacture of PSC sleepers for a number of

Factories ( now produced in millions all over the country ).

5. Design of Several important structures for Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams ( TD).

6. Advice on re-construction of

a) Rajagopuram of Srikalahasti

b) Sanctum santorum of Annavaram Temple

7. Advice on a number of Turnkey projects for BHEL, Trichy.

8. Design of over 20 tall TV Towers for Doordarshan all over the country with tower heights

ranging from 100 to 330 m ( tallest free standing structures in the country ).

19 candidates have taken Ph.D. under his guidance. Has over 90 publications in refereed

Conferences on Concrete Structures. Under took several sponsored research projects sponsored by
