Hay verbos regulares, pero hay muchos irregulares. Necesitas memorizarlos.

In Spanish, the vowels “i” and “u” are weak.

Think: “I and you and weak”.

This means that if “i” or “u” is paired up with a strong vowel (a, e, o), the stong vowel gets the emphasis.

To emphasize “i” or “u”, then, you need to add an accent.
