move between jobs thus remaining employable

throughout his life and also to create jobs from the skills and

attributes possessed via entrepreneurship.

the key enablers that will strengthen our operational

efficacy. Providing for financial independence, revenue generation effort, brand

reputation, maximizing the potential of the capacity and

New Economy Skills Development

31

To address the need for the New Economy Skills development, UniKL has developed a holistic and charismatic Student

Development Framework of UniKL based on the UniKL Experience Model.

The framework was developed based on the engage, explore and experience concept to ensure the campus life

experience will give the impact required for their character development.

“Learning is the process whereby knowledge is created through the transformation of experience".

- Kolb, 1984

32

Student experience gained from building academic excellence is extended through activities and social engagement to obtain added knowledge and skills.
