As computers and notebooks are no longer equipped with a floppy drive, Freecom is offering the USB Floppy Disk Drive. Small files like drivers, software updates, patches for operating systems, anti-virus updates and boot-diskettes are still being shipped on floppy disks. Also, a lot of people still have old text files, spreadsheets, pictures etc saved on floppy disks. • Use as many recycled raw materials as possible• We have invested R&D resources in perfecting the USB powering

technology, which resulted in low power consumption products and eleminating the need to ship our mobile hard drives with external power supplies

• Our hard drives are shipped with the ‘Green Button’ application which controls the power consumption of your Freecom hard drive

• Limit the amount of printed user-manuals; these are pre-installed in digital format on the hard drive

• Reduce our packaging sizes as much as possible, thereby minimizing the amount of waste
