THE CHALLENGECuration of new boutiques are launched everyday on Ruelala.com. With their unique flash sale business model and dynamic product offerings, Rue La La faced challenges enabling their members to easily find the products that were most relevant to them. Rue La La wanted to create a relevant and personalized journey for each and every shopper – from acquisition to loyal member – to provide a better brand experience and to guide them to products of interest. Given that shoppers engage with Rue from various device types, they were also looking to create a unified and consistent experience across channels.

THE SOLUTIONPartnering with Evergage, Rue La La created a personalization strategy that involved presenting relevant products throughout a customer’s shopping journey. By combining CRM data with deep behavioral analytics within the Evergage platform, Rue La La was able to segment and analyze its members’ shopping patterns to better understand their interests and intent, and then respond in real time with personalized experiences and product recommendations. Evergage also enabled the company to conduct ongoing campaign analysis and testing to optimize results. PERSONALIZED NAVIGATION - RECENTLY VIEWED

Most shoppers rely on the back button on a site to find previously viewed items, but Rue La La wanted to provide a more effective method of navigating its site.
