Product Range

Smart process & Controls LTD have a full range of products that cater for most industries and applica-tions. We have partnered with Revalco (Italy) and have a sole UK distribution agreement. Revalco has become a key supplier to our portfolio and with our 15 years experience in this particular field and their 30 years we do not only supply standard products but have modified existing designs to suit the UK market. Revalco take full advantage of the latest technologies to produce modern high quality products taking into consideration the requirements of each industry.

We have also sourced and produced other products that complete our product range such as a LCD backlit multifunction power meter, MID certified kWh meters, split core current transformers and three phase current transformers.

We are a young and progressive company that have already reacted to different trends and demands within the UK market. As an example of our flexibility we have also manufactured our own pre-wired “plug and play “distribution panels that can come as standard with pulsed outputs, or have the ability to be remotely monitored without having to wire into any existing networks, it is as simple as connecting the current transformers and mounting the panel on the wall and you are ready to go.

Meteronline is an on-line energy monitoring system provided by Meter Manager Ltd since

2005. The service collects meter readings, processes this information and then delivers easy

to read reports via a web based interface and email. Applications include, Renewable Energy

Generation Monitoring, Energy Management, Remote Monitoring and Tennant Billing.

Meteronline’s inherent scalability provides a complete managed metering system that can

handle a large number of meters from almost any location. Nevertheless Meteronline can also

be used cost effectively with only a single meter connected.

The Ampy 5188A is a single phase Pre-payment kWh meter. This meter works from a Magnetic card

which offers a safe simple and efffective solution for “pay as you go” electricity.this elimanates debts

that may occur as a result of non-payments of bills. This technolgy is proving very effective in the leisure

industries. We also supply the Magnetic cards and have a secure unique coding system which protects

the landlord and prevents the cards being purchased and sold on the black market. Electricity cards are

available in £1.00, £5.00, £10.00, £20.00 and £50.00 value. The ‘Meterman’ Programming Card enables

the Site Manager to change the meter’s charging parameters using the push buttons on the front of the

meter. The following step-by-step instructions will guide you through the process for using the ‘Meter-

man’ Programming Card to adjust the required parameters.

Devices for protection against overvoltage (surge protection) - new section 534

Both lightning strikes and electrical switching can inject what are called transient overvoltages into installations. Transient voltages are usually only a few micro seconds in duration. However their peak value can reach 6 kV.

Current lightning protection standards BS EN62305 recognise the need for protection due to our reliance on electrical and electronic systems as well as the risks to personnel and buildings. Where required by BS EN 62305, SPDs shall be installed in accordance with the new key Section 534 of BS 7671:2008 Amendment 1.

The consequence of transient overvoltage’s can be damaging and disastrous. Transient overvoltage protectors or Surge Protective Devices (SPDs) should be installed on mains power supplies and data, signal & communications lines. The new regulations where published on the 1 July 2011 and came into effect on the 1 January 2012. This means installations designed after 1 January 2012 will need to comply with amendment
