Flooded type adopts flooded type evaporator, shell-and-tube condenserand high efficiency compressor. Optimized system design and enhancedheat exchange efficiency make the unit working best under both full loadand partial load. Every chiller is fully factory tested and gas charged in thefactory before dispatch. It uses R134a environmental refrigerant. Ownsthree stages oil separation and dual compressors from 1080kw to1780kW, single compressor are from 340kW to 890kW. Steplesscapacities adjustment can be customized.

4.0 CONSTRUCTIONThe cooling tower main frame structure shall be hot dip galvanised steel(HDG). The casing shall be made of fibreglass reinforced polyester (FRP).

5.1 Fan(s) shall be propeller-type, incorporating heavy-duty blades ofaluminium alloy. Blades shall be individually adjustable. Fan Blades shallbe factory balanced and assembled. Pitch angle should be variable toallow flexibility.5.2 The V-belts shall be of rubber with fabric impregnated able towithstand the adverse ambient conditions of 50°C and 100% R.H. Thepulleys shall be cast iron with the grooves of standard dimensions. Theentire V-belt & pulley set must be fully enclosed in a FRP molded case toprotect the V-belts from in contact with the humid discharge air.5.3 Motor(s) shall be TEFC, weatherproof sq. caged induction typesuitable for 3ph /50Hz/415V power supply and with 1450 rpm. Motor shallbe installed outside the discharge air stream.

6.0 INFILL6.1 Fill shall be Vacuum-formed film-type, rigid, corrugated PVC sheets.The infill shall be bonded with specially formulated glue in blocks. The infillmodules shall be resistant to rot, fungi, bacteria and organic/inorganicacids and alkali as commonly found in cooling towers. The design shallmeet 0.02% drift loss of the circulation water flow.

7.0 HOT WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMThe hot water distribution shall be of open gravity type basin. It shall bemade of FRP material. It shall be light weight and non-corrosive tomaintain stable water sprinkling effect.

8.0 COLD WATER BASINThe cold water basin shall be of FRP and supported on HDG steelframework. The basin shall be designed with sufficient water capacity toavoid air entrainment in the outlet during operating conditions. The basinshall be equipped with suction strainer, make-up ball valve, overflow anddrain. For multiple tower arrangement, equalizing pipes between basinsshall be provided to maintain the same level of water in each basin.

9.0 ACCESS AND SAFETYLadder shall be provided for inspection & maintenance purposes. HDGsteel fan guard shall be provided over each fan cylinder.

6.0 FILL AND DRIFT ELIMINATORS6.1 Fill shall be high efficiency film-type, rigid, corrugated PVC sheets withintegral louver and drift eliminator that are conducive to cooling water andUV protected and self extinguishing properties. Fill shall be cross-corrugated and the surface of the sheet shall have a suitable micro-structure to improve turbulence and water distribution. Fill sheets shall bebonded at all contact points. Fill shall be of alternate tip configuration toimprove water drainage and minimize air pressure drop.

6.3Drift Eliminators shall be assembled in easily removable modules. Drifteliminator shall be 3 pass sinusoidal-shaped blade type. Guarantee driftloss must not exceed 0.005% of the designed water flow rate.

7.0 HOT WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMEach call of the tower shall be equipped with hot water distributionsystem. Header and lateral pipes shall be PVC. Nozzles shall be non-clogging, capable of passing objects up to 25mm in diameter. The spraymust be designed such that the nozzle outlet is the lowest point in thesystem. The water inlet connection shall be located outside the towercasing. No rotating mechanical sprinkler system is allowed.

8.0 COLD WATER BASINThe cold water basin shall be of FRP and supported on HDG steelframework. The basin shall be designed with sufficient water capacity toavoid air entrainment in the outlet during operating conditions. The basinshall be equipped with suction strainer, make-up ball valve, overflow anddrain. For multiple tower arrangement, equalising pipes between basinsshall be provided to maintain the same level of water in each basin.

9.0 ACCESS AND SAFETYIService and maintenance platform must be constructed at the fan decklevel to facilitate easy inspection & maintenance of the fan machinery.Inspection door and caged ladder shall also be provided. Louver panelshall be removable for access to the sump, make-up, overflow and suctionstrainer. HDG steel fan guard shall be provided over each fan cylinder.

LFC-N SERIES

Description

LFC-N cooling tower takes advantage of the water pressure of circulationpump forming the water screen with special ejection pipe nozzles. Thepressure differential inside and outside the tower is generated by theflowing speed of water screen, thus causing the inhale of ambient cold airinto the tower. The effectiveness of cooling down the water is achievedthrough the precise diffusers that can regulate the ambient air sucked inthrough the filling. Hence, the circulation water is fully in contact with theambient air during water ejection and falling processes, resulting inrejected heat. The ambient air of fanless cooling tower naturally enters the cooling towerdue to the pressure differential caused by ejection water screen, thusthere are no mechanical fan drive and transmission equipments. Thisbreakthrough, creative, and revolutionary design can, once and for all,eliminate the problems of mechanical noises, vibration, and maintenancebrought by fanned cooling towers. This is the best choice for the pursuitsof safety, efficiency, and environmental concerns.

Super Low NoiseThe noise of traditional cooling tower is generated by operating fan andmotors. The body vibration induced by transmission equipment reinforcesthe noise resonance and can be effectively reduced by installing vibrationisolators and channel base. The LFC-N cooling towers are fanless due toits unique cooling method, hence there are no troublesome noises andvibrations.

Water Saving and Pollution FreeLFC-N fanless technology tower applies transferring device of highefficient fluid dynamic energy to substitute fan motors. Although increasedpump heads are required due to design requirements, the average totalpower consumption is equivalent between fanless and traditional fannedtower. The air exhaust is designed with non-reducing ventilation so that the outletair velocity is less than that of fan driven one by more than 60%. With theuse of five-pass drift eliminators, depending on the ejection pressure, thedrift loss can be controlled between 0.001% and 0.009%. Such drift loss isfar lower than traditional fanned towers, hence a large volume of watercan be conserved. The water drop is smaller than 50 µ and will evaporateimmediately without any further pollution.

Low Maintenance CostLFC-N tower has no mechanical equipments of motor, speed reducer andtransmission parts (ie, whole tower consist of non-moving parts). CTI CERTIFIED R-LC SERIES

LRC Series is a square cross flow type cooling tower. The direct contactbetween horizontal air from both inlet sides and the falling water from thehot water basin occurs inside the PVC fillings so that the heat can berejected from the tower by the fan. LRC series allows for multi-cellarrangements as the towers are in modular design. This series of coolingtower allows for maintenance during running condition without affecting itsnormal operation. Furthermore, the access door feature allows forconvenience when performing routine filling cleaning. LRC series appliesthe gravitational type distribution system through uniform water distributionachieved by gravity hence the internal pressure component of pump headis insignificant. The gravitational distribution design also lowers drift lossand features low fan speed and low noise. The thermal performance of R-LC Series has been certified by the Cooling Technology Institute (CTI) inaccordance with CTI STD-201.

LBC SERIES

Description

LBC series is a circular counter flow cooling tower which adopts a highlyefficient rotating sprinkler head system to induce self rotation indistributing hot water across the fillings. The Fiberglass-ReinforcedPolyester (F.R.P.) casing is circular shaped thus eliminating specialpositioning requirements and is not affected by prevailing wind directions.It further allows quick and easy installation due to light-weight andcompactness. LBC is the most conventional, economical, and practicalcooling towers with sizes ranging from 5 tons to 1500 tons. The LBCstandard series is suitable for general HVAC applications and variousmanufacturing process cooling. LBC-LN (Low Noise) type features anupper fan stack and splash mat for running at lower fan speed based onthe feature of fan blade. LBC-LN series has lower noise level than thestandard LBC model by 7~10 dB.

FillingThe embossed filling is made of PVC sheet that is processed by surfacetreatment of wrinkled and corrugated pattern. PVCfilling is suitable for operation with inlet water temperature up to 47°C.Additional filling options offered include CPVC and PP material for inletwater temperatures above 47°C.
