PROCESS FOR CONDUCTINGEXAM’s (MST’s / Final) The things to be decided: a) All Course coordinators will give 1 at tentative schedule of the examination by discussing among themselves (date & timing of the exam like morning & evening etc.)to the Examination Coordinator & final date sheet will be decided by the Exam Coordinatorafter discussing & getting it approved from the Vice Principal). b) Seating arrangement & seating plan (How many rooms to be utilizedtobe supervised by Examination department)& mobile jammers will be there to jam mobile networks so that no student will be using mobile phones during examination time. c) Any specific requirement to be given to examination department by any course coordinator should be given in 1 week in advance after consulting faculty in charges. d) Date sheet decided as above will be pasted on common CIIS Notice board & respective rooms by examination department 1 week before the starting of must’s exams & 20 days before the final exam’s. e) Seating arrangements will be pasted on common CIIS Notice board & respective rooms by examination department 1 hour before start of exam by examination department. f) Printed Question Papers – MST :- The sealed envelop mentioning (course , Sub code, semester , session, time, no of question papers, date , duration & faculty name ) to be provided by the respective course coordinator /subject In charges to the Exam Coordinator (the number of question papers to be printed= No of students appearing +2 more for examination deptrecord purpose). g) Printed Question Papers – Final :- The question papers prepared by respective course in-charges will be sending to the course coordinator’s before respective deadlines & the same will be sent to the Vice principle by respective course coordinators. Vice principle after vetting the Question papers will be sending to the parent university for finalvetting.

After final vetting job done by the Parent university the vetted paper will be sent by the parent university to the Vice principle. All the printing work related to Question paper will be done there by the ‘Examination Department’ in the vice principle office & storage will be done there itself in the same office managed by ‘Vice principle & Examination Department’& It will sealed in envelop mentioning (course , Sub code, semester , session, time, no of question papers, date , duration & faculty name ) , the number of question papers to be printed= No of students appearing +2 more for examination department record purpose.

h) Examination departmentwill be mailing duty list to the entire concerned faculty 3 days in advance. If any faculty member wants leave during exam should inform the Chief coordinator / Exam coordinator & give the replacement of the same.

k) Rules of invigilation : a) Invigilators shouldreport 15 minutes before the exam time to collect the material for

conducting exam (Question papers, answer books, attendance sheet of students & other stationary materials requirement to be given in advance by the concerned faculty).

b) Attendance will be marked of the concerned faculty on Invigilation by the Examination Dept.

c) Concerned faculty should see seating arrangements of the room is proper,if some requirement is there then they can contact Examination Dept.

d) 1) Invigilator advised not to use mobiles phones(playing games on mobiles) until& unless it is an emergency call & keep mobile phone on silent mode.2) Invigilators are advised that they should not talk to each other except official matters inside the class.

e) Invigilators must ensure that correct papers have been distributed along with student attendance sheet(count total number of students who are appearing & who all are absent& mark the same on attendance sheet of students).

f) Invigilators should keep proper check on students so that no unfair means should be adopted by students during the exam (refer to Exam’s – Rules & regulation for student’s sheet)&also see that all students are wearing their I cards.

g) Students are only allowed to go after half time is over by submitting answer sheets or what ever been announced in the class by the examination dept.

h) 1) After examination time Invigilators on duty should handover the answer sheets to the Examination Depart by properly counting the no of answer sheets of the students who appeared in the concerned examination in their respective allocated rooms.2) Concerned faculty should collect their respective answer sheets after finishing of exam time for checking of the same.___________________________________________________________________________
