INTRODUCTIONProcess engineering (also referred to as chemicalengineering) is at the heart of much of the chemical,oil, gas, and petrochemical industries. The process(chemical)engineerisinterestedinthetransportationandtransformationofsolids,liquidsandgases,butmustalsobefamiliarwithmanyoftheotherengineeringdisciplinesincluding mechanical, electrical and instrumentation.
