Project: Trent XWB (84K and 97K)

Trent XWB84K is a development engine which has passed the test phase and has rolled into

production in mid of 2014. 97K being the higher thrust variant is undergoing testing.

Trent 1000 (including – TEN Engines)

Trent 1000 is an Engine fitted into Boeing 787 Dreamliner Commercial Aircraft and is currently

into service. Roles & Responsibilities:

Providing technical support to RR BoM team and development engineers in specifying and testing solutions for different development engines as per their planned test.

Providing support to customer in various development activities. Leading, guiding the offshore Team (Bangalore) and monitoring the quality of deliveries to RR

from offshore and regularly discussing and receiving customer feedback to ensure the business continuity and continuous development of deliverables, managing the workload in line to the

revenue/billing hours provided by customer RR. Perform Risk assessments for upcoming projects and mitigate the outstanding risks to closure. Conduct Measurement & Analysis (M&A) to review quality issues raised by the Customer. The

root cause is found through technique like 5 why’s, Fishbone diagram etc. Appropriate corrective actions are summoned to ensure that the defects are eliminated.

Hands on experience in facing internal audit and closure of NCs by analysing probable root causes and taking suitable corrective action.

Setting up Training plan for new team members and writing down the new processes/how to guide/work instructions for all new projects.

Regularly providing process improvement plan for Quest Project Management. Provide cost savings Innovative Ideas in amending the current process and pulling it to the

optimum level resulted in bringing few productivity tools. Tools:

Handsome background on RR tool VRS (Vehicle Requirement System) and PCOMM (Core:
