    The Persian garden designs tend to followvery specific rules, concepts and primarilyfocus on water and shade.

    While designing a Persian garden; the layouts,

    styles, colors, etc. are to taken care of. Theexamples of Persian garden designs are theAlhambra, the Taj Mahal, and the Generalife.

    We get to see the typical Persian gardendesigns in Iran, Pakistan, India, Turkey, etc.

    In the typical Persian gardens, the climate isvery hot. Therefore water-efficient elements,

    shade producing design features areim ortant factors of Persian ardens.

    The most important factor of Persian gardensis to build shade type structures wherevernecessary in the garden. This helps to copewith hot climates and keep the atmosphere

    cool.These gardens are closed and walled and

    have very little association with the areaoutside these walls. As walls is the mainfeature of the garden design there is anoption of fixing existing courtyards in the needof renovation.

    The Persian gardens necessarily have acentral water feature or ponds as water is the

    soul of these gardens. The fountains are alsoseen in these gardens. Fountains tend to bemore of modern Persian garden design. It is abest way to save water and maintain with theoriginal design consisting of a water structure

    The gardens have crisp colors and cleanalignments. The intricate mosaic tiles areoccasionally used in these gardens. The

    gardens have long beds.The garden can be conservative, refined,

    formal or relaxed and casual. The differentgarden designs serve different purposes.

    Arches play an important role in Persiangarden designs. It shows typical Persian

    architectural theme. These arches are madefrom stonework or sometimes wooden supportwhich can be made appear as original.

    Symmetry is very important in these designs.The matching or mirroring elements can giveenjoyment and pleasure.

    Fin garden

    "Fin Garden, or Bagh-e Fin, located inKashan, Iran, is a

    historical Persiangarden.

    It contains Kashan'sFin Bath, where Amir

    Kabir, the Qajaridchancellor, wasmurdered by anassassin sent by King

    Nasereddin Shah in

    The garden covers 2.3 hectares with a mainyard surrounded by ramparts with fourcircular towers.

    In keeping with many of the Persian gardensof this era, the Fin Garden employs a greatmany water features.

    These were fed from a spring on a hillside

    behind the garden, and the water pressurewas such that a large number of circulatingpools and fountains could be constructedwithout the need for mechanical pumps.

    Eram Garden is a famous historic Persiangarden in Shiraz, Iran

    Bagh- Eram (Garden of Paradise) is a largegarden with a wonderful looking palace in it.

    This monument is a masterpiece from theQajar dynasty in so far as architecture,

    painting, carving, tiling and stuccowork areconcerned.

    . At the bottom of the most of these gardensin a circular area, where the multitude ofthick, bushy maple and plane trees join theirheads together to provide a cool, shady spotfor resting.

    The inscriptions have been inscribed byMirza Ali Naghi Khoshnevis in Nastaligh style

    of writing. In the portal of the building thereare three large and two small sessions.

    The spring, which flows in the waterfronts,right in the middle of the building pours into

    ponds and grants Eram garden a greatappeal.

    The cypress tree in this garden is quitefamous.
