Bedrooms don’t particularly need a view, so the South wall would be appropriate, or in the middle of the site, as if the building was rectangular, the roof would shel-ter the bedrooms, unable to be seen.

PRIVACY & SUN CONTROL ISSUES

Two storey apartments, roughly 10m above the highest point of the site, and looking directly down onto the site. This is the least private wall of the building, it is also exposed to the harshest sun, so sun control will also gain privacy.

North East Apartments, three storey’s high, although not directly facing the site, yet still able to see the site.

Opposite apartments have direct view to site, 2 ½ - 3 story apart-ment.

The Heritage building to the West, with the entrance behind the site, is 2 storey’s high, and has 8 windows on the Eastern Façade, so is not private.Neighboring

apartments to the south only have small frosted windows, eg: toilets, so privacy is a small issue.
