On behalf of the South Island Branch Executive of Property Council New Zealand, I have great pleasure in inviting you to participate in the 2017 Property Council New Zealand Southern Excellence Awards.

Now an annual fixture, last year we received over 30 nominees across nine categories with the awards dinner now a sought after event on the social calendar, consistently selling out for two year’s running. Although an evening of great entertainment and enjoyment, it is the people in our industry that will take centre stage. Our industry has experienced great adversity and challenges over recent years, but it is the individual people involved that inspire and become leaders, that make the difference and this is our opportunity to recognise and celebrate their achievements. Their enthusiasm, vision and tenacity drives success and motivates people to continually strive for improvement; it is the

people that make the property industry one of the most exciting industries to be involved in.

Individuals and teams from throughout the South Island are invited to submit their nominations and the finalists and award winners will be formally recognised for their achievements on Friday 10 November 2017

at the Air Force Museum in Wigram, Christchurch. Put this date in your calendar and start thinking about who you could nominate, who endeavours to go above and beyond and who deserves to be recognised; now is your chance to celebrate such commitment.

Warm regards,

Roger DavidsonSouth Island Branch President
