A PRIMAVERA Technology Partner is an entity specialized in the development of vertical solutions

that complement the horizontal PRIMAVERA product range.

It is expected that a Technology Partner can provide high-quality services in the field of the

integration of its products with PRIMAVERA BSS solutions, thereby creating wide-ranging solutions

capable of meeting the needs of specific business sectors.

This status may be displayed by Partners who have already adhered to one of the other three

commercial partnership statuses of PRIMAVERA BSS (PRIMAVERA Authorized Partner, PRIMAVERA

Professional Partner, PRIMAVERA Executive Partner.), or by companies who, not being involved in

the commercialization of management solutions, wish to integrate their solutions with the

information platform managed by the PRIMAVERA solution and used by more than 100.000

companies. It's up to PRIMAVERA BSS to decide whether to accept the candidates to this

partnership status.

The Technology Partners Program is the program associated with the management of this type

of partnership and has the function of integrating the range of Technology Partner's solutions

with PRIMAVERA's own solutions. This way, it is facilitated the Technology Partners' access to

technology and to all means set to their disposal by PRIMAVERA as well as the publicizing of

integrated solutions to the PRIMAVERA Partner Channel and Users.

The technologies associated with PRIMAVERA

products and available

for Technology Partners include:

PRIMAVERA INTEGRATION TECHNOLOGY

PRIMAVERA Integration Technology which allows

access to objects interfacing with the PRIMAVERA ERP

solutions. These objects, designated by Integration

Engines are the same used in ERP with exception to

the object layer that manages the interface with the

User defining the business rules of the solution.

These solutions are based on the Component Object

Model (COM) which allows the use of development

components of various manufacturers in the

development of applications. These solutions are also

based on Microsoft's DNA Architecture (Distributed

Internet Architecture) that allows the creation of

software arranged in 3 layers, ensuring services by

levels therefore confirming the modularity of these

levels.

PRIMAVERA Integration Technology allows Technology

Partners to use the objects included in the business

layer rules of the solutions as long as their

development environment allows the registration of

COM objects. The access to information from the

interface provided through the business objects model

ensures compliance with the business rules

established in the PRIMAVERA Management System

as well as independence from the data model. This

fact constitutes the key element of PRIMAVERA

Integration Technology.

PRIMAVERA DOCUMENTAL INTEGRATION

TECHNOLOGY

PRIMAVERA Documental Integration Technology (PDIT)

is an interface that allows the combination of

documental management solutions with the

PRIMAVERA ERP solutions and show images of

digitised documents in the PRIMAVERA solution.

Through a DLL (Dynamically Linked Library) developed

by the Technology Partner with a layout provided by

PRIMAVERA it is possible to view images of the

digitalized documents as well as adding and

removing images of those documents. By activating,

at the PRIMAVERA Administrator, the Documental

Integration Technology License, three new options

become available in certain documents' interfaces

and ERP entities: adding, removing and viewing

documents.

In this way it is possible with PRIMAVERA ERP solutions,

to access the images of documents digitalized,

indexed, filed, consulted and possibly sent (by

workflow or other mechanisms) in the application of

Documental Management.

EXTENSIBILITY TOOLS

In addition to these Technologies, inbuilt within the

PRIMAVERA solutions there is a set of extensibility tools

which the Technology Partners may use to strengthen

integration between their solutions and PRIMAVERA

solution:

—User Data Configuration Possibility to alter the

structure of the data bases which serve as the basis

for the information.

—Reports Configuration Based on PRIMAVERA

solutions there's the possibility to generate new

reports in accordance with their more specific needs.

PRIMAVERA Integration Technology

The PRIMAVERA Technology Partners Program has, as its main objective, the

structuring of a global market of Integrated Solutions with PRIMAVERA and

promoting the commercialization of these solutions by the PRIMAVERA channel and

their adoption by PRIMAVERA Users. It also seeks to capitalize on the technological

investment that PRIMAVERA BSS has been making in terms of applicational

architecture and technology in its products.

This program relies on the adhesion of dozens of companies that are part of a

community producer of solutions for PRIMAVERA technology.

The Technology Partner Program includes 3 types of advantages for the Technology

Partners: technology transfer; Support to the use of this technology and disclosure

and commercialization of the Integrated Solutions.

—The Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) Possibility

to change the standard product behaviour by adding

of specific programming associated with a set of

events deployed by this programming tool which is

included in the product.

—User Forms and Separators Extensions of the VBA

environment which allow the interface with the

standard User of ERP solutions to be altered by the

creation of forms or separators with specific

functionalities.

—User Functions Functionality which allows the

customization of macros to execute functions such as

the dispatch of e-mail or sms or the execution of

stored procedures, user defined functions, VBA

macros and external application or invoke User forms

or reports.

—User Processes Environment defining control flows

which allow the integration of various User functions

with the operating logic so as to define processes

whose execution may be prescheduled.

—User Menus Possibility of the customization of

specific menus to invoke User functions.

PEP SDK

This SDK (Software Development Kit) for the contents

manager PRIMAVERA Enterprise Portals allows the

creation of components for this platform. One of the

advantages of Primavera Enterprise Portals is that it

provides, natively, a set of components linked to

PRIMAVERA ERP solutions. This multi-portal, multi-

lingual and multi-community platform allows the

creation of internet, intranet and/or extranet solutions

which allow centralization on a single web interface of

tools from different third parties. In addition, it

provides containers which allow components with

different formats to be inbuilt in this environment.

Publicizing Technology Partners and Integrated Solutions

PRIMAVERA publicizes Technology Partnes and

Integrated Solutions to PRIMAVERA Community

(Users and Business Channel). These actions are

carried out through different PRIMAVERA media:

EDIT MAGAZINE

EDIT is the company's magazine and a privileged

means to reach both Users and Partners

communities. Around 40.000 companies receive EDIT

directly from PRIMAVERA. This publication may include

articles and case studies on integrated solutions with

PRIMAVERA, as well as the listing of all PRIMAVERA

Technology Partners.

INTEGRATED SOLUTIONS EXCHANGE

This is an area available at PRIMAVERA Web sites

Integrated Solutions are publicized, bringing together

information on applications, web components or

others, which interact with PRIMAVERA software and

allowing pre-filtering by sector and subsector of the

applicable solutions. In this area it is still possible to

provide links to demonstration or download / on-line

trade websites for the integrated products.

In addition to the cataloguing and documenting of all

Technology Partners’ solutions there are self-service

mechanisms which allow the automation of the

entering and updating processes for information on

integrated solutions by Technology Partners, subject to

PRIMAVERA approval.

All Technology Partners, regardless of whether they

have integrated solutions or not, shall define their

areas and sectors of competence in terms of

development which may be used to select them for

business whenever there are no suitable solutions.

SOLUTIONS FAIRS

Solutions Fairs are PRIMAVERA initiatives. They are

usually integrated into events in which PRIMAVERA BSS

is participating or organising and whose aim is to lend

visibility to the Technology Partners and to the

respective solutions integrated with PRIMAVERA. This

is usually carried out by the creation of a specific

space in which these solutions are displayed to the

public or to commercial PRIMAVERA Partners by the

respective producers or representatives.

INTEGRATION SESSIONS

Integration Sessions are events organized by

PRIMAVERA that have the objective to bring together a

group of Commercial Partners or other entities in

order to be presented with the Integrated Solutions

produced by Technology Partners, as well as the

strategy and business model associated with the

distribution of these solutions.

JOINT MARKETING ACTIONS

In addition to the marketing actions described above

PRIMAVERA is also available to assess and support,

should it see fit, the actions proposed by the

Technology Partners with mutual gains. Examples

include support to participations by Partners at fairs,

exhibitions, conferences and seminars or the creation

of marketing media which include PRIMAVERA

references and elements.

INTEGRATION OF COMMERCIAL LEADS

The integration and passing on of commercial leads

to Technology Partners is a process which usually

occurs whenever the PRIMAVERA sales force or

Contact Center detect the need for a product or

integrated solution which is complementary to the

PRIMAVERA product range.

At this time a process is carried out by the integration

area which, based on the characteristics of the

request received, selects the most appropriate

Technology Partner and passes on the contact of the

potential client.

With the objective of facilitating technology transfer

between PRIMAVERA and the Technology Partner

there are mechanisms that support the Partners'

specialist teams in the use of this technology.

The PRIMAVERA Technical Support Unit provides a

multichannel service platform which enables

Technology Partners to present support incidents,

specific problems, queries or malfunctions in

software, via the MySpace Partners portal, by e-mail,

fax or phone, and monitor the resolution of these

problems by consulting the incidents online.

The PRIMAVERA Academy is the entity responsible for

training and certifying PRIMAVERA Partner technicians.

There are two one-day courses specifically designed

for the formation of PRIMAVERA Developers, the

certification assigned to programmers specialized in

extensibility and PRIMAVERA integration technology by

carrying out a specific exam.

Consulting sessions may be proposed to the

Technology Partners and held on terms defined by

PRIMAVERA, to help in the start-up or development of

integration projects. Sessions of this same type shall

be carried out within the remit of the certification of

Technology Partners products.

How to become a PRIMAVERA Technology Partner?

Becoming a PRIMAVERA Technology Partner is very simple: a candidate form is

available online and must be filled in and sent by the applicant. The application is

analysed by PRIMAVERA and, in case of approval, a digital agreement is issued at

PRIMAVERA Partners' website (Partners'Space). Meanwhile, the access data is sent

to the applicant by e-mail.

After the digital signature of the agreement, the applicant is given access to the

other areas of the “Partner'Space” where information relevant to the partnership is

available: technical information, technicians' enrolment in training courses,

enabling them to access technical support and obtain the knowledge required for

the respective certification, etc.

After certification of the first technician, which occurs upon approval at an exam

scheduled and held at the PRIMAVERA Academy, the company assumes fully-

fledged PRIMAVERA Technology Partner status, thereafter referenced at the specific

locations defined by PRIMAVERA as a company holding this status.

From this time onwards the Technology Partner may also use all the Marketing

mechanisms at the disposal of Partners with this status.

What do you need to do to become a Technology Partner?

A company producing or distributing software which is vertical or complementary

to PRIMAVERA software may gain PRIMAVERA Technology Partner status provided

that it meets the obligations associated with this status:

—Have 1 Technician Certified in PRIMAVERA Extensibility on its permanent staff. This

certification is a pre-requisite and may be carried out immediately after adhesion

to the status. Training is not mandatory although it is recommended for new

technicians.

—Ensure the restoration of the number of technicians within six months whenever

for whatsoever reason this number falls below the required figure.

—Inform PRIMAVERA of any negative variation in the number of PRIMAVERA

certified technicians, thereby facilitating control by PRIMAVERA services.

—Ensure the presence of technical staff with knowledge of SQL Server, the data

base which supports PRIMAVERA products.

—Identify itself to its clients as a Technology Partner, using the Technology Partner

logo in the media which identify the company.

—The Technology Partner shall deploy Integration Technology with a view to

How does the issuing of Integration Licenses work?

The Integration License is issued by PRIMAVERA at the request of the Technology

Partner and in the name of the end User. To this end the Technology Partner shall

download the Order Form for Integration Licenses from the Partner Portal and fax

the duly completed form to PRIMAVERA.

Upon reception the license is issued and billed by the Administrative and Financial

Department, this being made available for printing at the Partner Portal

(Administrative | Client Statement).

Within the VBA environment in PRIMAVERA solutions, does the integration

technology need to be licensed to access the integration engines?

With versions prior to version 7 of PRIMAVERA solutions the integration technology

needs to be licensed whenever the object to be used is not instanced in the VBA

context.

With version 7 licensing is not required except in cases where it is desired to

access, from this environment, the objects model associated with a different

company on the data base associated with the VBA environment in use.

Are there Upgrades to Integration Licenses?

In the event of changes to the Primavera software version, Integration Licenses

may also be upgraded. Self-evidently, this Upgrade also involves the updating of

Technology Partner software and the payment of an Upgrade cost by the End User

unless the Integration License is included in the Continuity Agreement of this User.

In the case of Business Line Users this inclusion is automatic and mandatory.

Is it possible to request Integration Licenses for Demonstration?

Yes. For each Technology Partner licenses are automatically issued for all Primavera

products to which they are entitled including those of Integration Technology.

Should the Partner desire another Primavera Partner to demonstrate its integrated

solutions to end Users, it shall request the issuing of this Integration License by way

of a Request to the Organisation inserted at the Partner Portal.

required to sell Integration Licenses annually ensuring the acquisition of a

minimum annual amount of 1000 euros in Integration Technology User Licenses.

—Payment of an annual instalment for PRIMAVERA Technology Partner status at

the start of each year or after adhesion for the sum of 1500 euros + VAT. In the year

of adhesion to the status the value of the annual instalment shall be proportional to

the number of months left until the end of the year, considering the initial month to

be the month subsequent to the enrolment month. Should the Partner accumulate

this status with one of the PAP, PPP or PEP statuses, the value of annual instalment

for Technology Partners shall be 500 euros + VAT.

What is an Integration License?

An integration license corresponds to the right to use PRIMAVERA Integration

Technology or Documental Integration Technology in the installation of an

application produced or represented by the Technology Partner in a company

which is its end customer (i.e. a User). It is immaterial how many PRIMAVERA

products are integrated with the Technology Partner solution. A solution installed at

an end customer may use any of the Engines available.

The Technology Partner shall buy from PRIMAVERA the licenses issued by

requesting them in the name of its End Customers. For Professional Line

applications the PVP (Price to the Public) per license is 400 Euros + VAT. For Business

Line applications the PVP per license is 1,800 Euros + VAT.

Can a company use more than one Integrated Solution with just one

Integration License?

Yes, if the company already has an Integration License registered at the server

where the Technology Partner solution is installed, then it does not need to acquire

a new license.

Does a company with more than one installation require more than one

Integration License?

Yes, one Integration License is required for each installation of Primavera software,

there being no additional licenses or by-products.

Who can sell Integration Licenses?

Only Technology Partners or PRIMAVERA within the context of the services provided

by the Consulting Unit may sell Integration Licenses to the End Users.

Who can access Primavera Technical Support?

Only technicians enrolled by the Technology Partner in the PRIMAVERA Academy

may Access Primavera Technical Support.

What is required to certify a Technician in Extensibility?

To obtain the Certification of a Technician in Extensibility the technician in question

shall be submitted to an exam held at the PRIMAVERA Academy on a date and at a

time to be scheduled by this entity at the request of the Technology Partner. To this

end the Partner shall contact the PRIMAVERA Academy, expressing its interest in

sitting the exam.

There are 4 Primavera Academy training modules which can be attended with a

view to acquiring knowledge for this Exam: Extensibility 1, Extensibility 2, Crystal

Reports for Primavera, SQL for Primavera.

What are the main advantages of a Certified Product over other

Integrated Solutions?

The main advantages associated with a Certified Product are the proximity

between the Primavera working environment and these products and the visibility

created on the Primavera Channel and to the Users of Primavera Products, since

these products are presented as authentic vertical extensions to the Primavera

Product.
