Following assessments will be carried out by the school during the year :

FOR STD. I &II :Will not have any formal tests but will be evaluated on day-to-day basis.

FOR STD. III TO V :2 evaluations in the First Term and 2 in the Second Term.Summative 1 - SeptemberSummative 2 - March.

NOTE :Only grades will be awarded in the mark sheet.

Students scoring 35% and above in all subjects will qualify for promotion to the next higher class.

On the basis of the consolidated result of the year, if any student scores less than 35% marks, the decision of the Principal will be final.

It is mandatory for students to appear for all the unit tests and both the Summative evaluations to get promotion to the next class.

For deciding the result of students joining in mid session their performance in the previous school will be taken into account and absence on medical grounds for one semester or both the semesters will be decided by the moderation committee.

Students are not allowed to bring book or paper on the days of Summative evaluations. Any student found to have brought any book or paper will not be allowed to appear for the evaluation.

Please note that admission to any class does not confer the right for continuance in the next academic year, unless the authorities are satisfied as regards the behaviour, progress of the child and the co-operation of the parents.

Answer papers of the Summative I Test will be shown to the parents. Those of the Summative II Test will not be shown.

CBSE has introduced Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE). So the day-to-day performance of the students in the class will be taken into consideration while awarding grades for internal evaluation. This includes the student’s behaviour, response to classroom teaching, asking/answering questions, completion of written work in class and neatness in work.

After the final assessment in March 2017, new classes will go on till the end of April 2017.
