Reno’s newest modern dance company. Around the Stage, will present 9 free dance sessions around midtown
Each dance session will be an hour long and consist of a dance performance by the hosting dancers, a brief history overview of the genre and a fun section of choreography taught to the attendees!
There will be dance sessions in beginning ballet, beginning hip-hop, beginning street jazz, beginning improvisation, story-telling through dance, beginning modern-graham and beginning tap.
Suggested $10-$15 donation ALL AGES AND SKILL LEVELS ARE WELCOME!

July 6th Location: Coffeebar Roastery – 1030 Haskell Street 9:00-10:00 (Story Telling Through Dance with Brandon Butler and Marygrace McManus) 10:30-11:30 (Beginning Improvisation with Kristin Austin) 12:00-1:00 (Beginning Hip-Hop with Joss Alfonso)

About the company: Around the Stage | Modern Dance Company was founded January 2018 by Keely Cobb with eight local dancers and four crew members. The company strives to produce shows that provide professional opportunities for local performers and technical crew members. Reno is largely a growing arts community and there is so much talent that needs to be seen on stage or used backstage. Around the Stage was created to access that talent and collaborate with these artists to create performances for our local community.
