Community – P4K Coat Drive
• OPPD employees have a long history of volunteering their time to the Partnership4Kids goal-setting and group mentoring program, which helps under-served students in Omaha schools.
• The children served through P4K often struggle with basic necessities.
• OPPD assisted these families with one of their needs by helping keep their children warm and safe from the winter elements in Nebraska.
• New or gently used children’s coats, snow pants, hats, gloves or scarves were collected at six OPPD sites.
Community – Energy Efficiency
As a sponsor of Christmas at Union
Station, OPPD encouraged
employees to enjoy the festivities at
The Durham Museum in downtown
Omaha.
OPPD’s sponsorship is enabling
organizers to decorate the 40-foot
tree with 2,000 energy-efficient LED
lights this year.*
Community – Toys for Tots
OPPD’s Veterans’
Employee Resource
Group coordinated the
District’s Toys for Tots
drive this year.
Collection boxes were
placed at 10 OPPD
locations; 25 boxes
were filled with toys
this year.
