Craig Black is best known for his ‘Acrylic Fusion’ technique.He specialises in bespoke artwork, murals, and installations,he believes in creating exciting and engaging visuals whilstmaintaining originality across all of his work.

Craig has won admirers on a global scale thanks to hissignature expression, 'Acrylic Fusion', an incredibly versatileanalogue process of hand pouring layers of acrylic paint tocreate a unique and mesmerising effect, loved by brands,art collectors, and NFT enthusiasts alike.

The versatility of acrylic fusion has meant that Craig hasbeen able to collaborate with a wide range of partners -from matchday storytelling with UEFA, to transforming acollection of cognac glasses with Remy Martin and creatinga one of a kind custom frame for Ribble Cycles.

Craig’s work has been celebrated and exhibited across theworld: from London and New York to Sydney and Dubai. Heis also known across the public speaking circuit for sharinghis inspirational creative journey at conferences andcreative events around the world.

Lynn Wilson is an award-winning academicknowledge exchange champion, circulareconomy design specialist, businessconsultant and public speaker includingparticipating in TEDx Bath 2019. Lynn iscurrently completing her PhD at the AdamSmith Business School, University ofGlasgow funded by the Economic SocialResearch Council in collaboration with theEthical Consumer Research Association.The title of her research is ‘Closing the loop.Driving circularity in consumer clothingdisposal.’ From 2013-2017 she was theSector Manager, textiles, andmanufacturing in the pioneering CircularEconomy team at Zero Waste Scotland.In 2016 Lynn was awarded additionalfunding from the British Council to developa learning resource to disseminate herfindings to fashion students

All profits raised by ECFS throughout the year aredonated to our two charity partners Strut Safe andMellon Educate which are fantastic, no-nonsensecharities that make a great difference to the communitiesthey serve.

In 2022, they aim to double both their financialcontribution to their charity partners and campus reachthis year.

A unique project managed by LEAP, a charitythat works to enhance the lives of older peopleacross Scotland through volunteering, learning,socialising and befriending.

R:evolve’s goal is to reduce clothingconsumption, cutdown carbonemissions and decrease landfillwaste by offering a range of servicesbased on the stories, skills andexperiences of older people whichprolong the life of clothes.

They do this by bringing back some good old-fashioned ideas like swapping, sharing,mending and making. They have four main aspects of our project, allof which are delivered by a mix of volunteersand staff

R:EVOLVE RECYCLE

Serena has always had an interest in buyingsecond-hand clothes, and more recently hasbeen developing her sewing skills further byrefashioning not only second-hand clothes, butalso those in her wardrobe she does not wearanymore. Being able to take part in The Great BritishSewing Bee was a dream of Serena’s. Sheimmersed herself in the experience and wasgiven incredible feedback from the judges abouther precise, technical sewing. Serena is the firstScottish and the youngest ever winner (at 22)of The Great British Sewing Bee. Serena continues to document her sewingjourney on Instagram (@serenasews_), whereshe is involved with the online sewingcommunity, embraces her passion forsustainable fashion, shares tips she has learnedover the years and journals her creations.
