Strong Political Drivers
Political aim is twofold:– to improve the local air quality, by lowering output of CO2, NOx
and fine dust locally– to decrease noise pollution city areas
Rotterdam joined the Clinton Climate Initiative

• In Italy EVs are exempt from taxes and have a substantial insurance fee reduction.
• In most cities the trash collection is performed by EV trucks. • Rome city centre is restricted for internal combustion engines
enabling the use of electric vehicles (small transporters and buses).
