Training Usually 4 Science of Oil Spills (SOS) classes per year: •  Portsmouth, New Hampshire the week of October 3, 2016 - The application period

will be open through Monday, August 15. Accepted applicants will be notified no later than Monday, August 22.

•  Registration will begin later in the year for these SOS classes:

•  Mobile, Alabama in March 2017. •  Seattle, Washington in summer 2017. •  Southeast U.S., timeframe to be determined. 7-12 Shoreline Cleanup and Assessment Technique (SCAT) classes. Contact your local SSC. Science of Chemical Releases (SOCR) tbd for 2017 *In addition to these in-person classes, OR&R offers an online introduction to Aerial Observation of Oil, targeted for Coast Guard aircrews, as well as half-day comprehensive Aerial Observation training. 7/18/16
