REPORT ACTIVITES FIRST SEMESTER COURSE 2011/2012Universitat Rovira i Virgili Tarragona, 15th of September 2011

TARRAGONA Tarragona is a medium city (around 100,000 habitants) with a Mediterranean climate and many recreation opportunities (nice beaches, theme parks, touristic resorts, beautifull people and party). It is located 100 km Southwest of Barcelona and it is well communicated by train (1 hour train ride with trains every 30 minutes), with highways and low cost flights to Europe from its own airport.Tarragona

Universitat Rovira i VirgiliThe URV was created in 1991. With clear goal: The development of the inner potential of individuals (intellectual, moral, emotional, physical, social, cultural, spiritual, ...) Most of the statistical studies classifies the URV as a reference University in Spain, an in the European space, for the quality of their teachers and classes, the commitment to lifelong learning and the excelence in research, development and innovation.

AEGEE AEGEE (Association des tats Gnraux des tudiants de l'Europe) found in Paris 1985. AEGEE (17.000 Members, 237 cities, 43 Countries, 1 Europe). AEGEE-TarragonaAEGEE-Tarragona is formed in major part of student and exstudents URV that took part in the Erasmus experience.

Goal is to help, integrate, facilitate the life and stay of the Erasmus students in Tarragona.Promote the city, the Mediterranean culture, the Catalan language, and specially the university for a continues expansion in the European Space.

Trip I. BarcelonaDate: Sat 01/10/2011 Hour: 9:15-20:00 Transport: Train Price: Barcelona is today an important cultural centre and a major tourist destination in Spain (reciving over 5 million tourists/year).

Trip II. Pilares ZaragozaDate: 10/10/2011-11/10/2011 Hour: 12:00-07:00 Transport: Bus Price: The party includes: -Crew of gigantes and cabezudos. -General Fair of Zaragoza -Beer Fair -Perforamance

Trip III. Port AventuraDate: 29/10/2011 Hour: 10:00-00:00 Transport: Train Price: PortAventura is one of the largest theme resort in Europe and has a master plan that will make possibly one of the largest tourist attractions in Europe. The park is followed by hotels, water parks, golf courses, beach clubs ... to fill the approximately 825 hectares of land owned by the park.
