• We need to be well prepare and need good hazard mitigation and adaptation technology

• BPPT has very long collaboration with JAMSTEC > 20 years.

• DONET (Dense Ocean Network System for Earthquake and Tsunami) is one of the most advance technology.

• BPPT-JAMSTEC plan to implement this technology

Other Factors • The best location to support infrastructure of

DONET (Electric Power Plan, transportation, safety, and man power).

• Use higher technology in the future which needs earthquake early detection :

– Jakarta Subway’s system.

– High building

– High risk Industry in Cilegon

– Evacuation of tourist at Charita

– Giant sea wall infrastructure and Sunda Strait Bridge. 22
