Magazines that have inspired me..

This one indie magazine has inspired, especially the front over. I love how different it is, in the sense, it doesn’t have your normal ‘flashes’ and bold article introducers, I think this gives the magazine a ‘different’ atmosphere.

I think I am going to not use ‘flashes or anything like that, I want my magazine to be more stylish and approachable.

Again they’ve used a simple stylish technique for the contents page, this suggests housestyle.

As they’ve done in this magazine, I may take pictures that relate to the other articles in the magazine, although in mine there will only be a front cover, contents page and dps.

Techniques from other magazines that have inspired me..

In this ‘Karrang’ magazine, they have used real objects that have been scanned in to create a ‘real’ effect, I think this is very effective and I may consider doing this in my music magazine..
