y To express things that are temporaryand haverelations to each other.

y Examples: On, beneath, against, beside, over,during, in, to, since, etc..

Place Prepositions:

-Used with nouns.(Usually before nounsand pronouns.)

-Never used beforeVerbs.

-Used to relate to places

Examples:

The cat is sitting on thetable smiling.

On is the prepositionand it is comparing itwith the table.
