Introduction
It's admitted that writing a good test is one of the necessary
skills a teacher should master. It reflects his own vision , experience
& efficiency. We should stick to certain criterions if we hope to achieve
this task successfully .For this reason , I've made up my mind to try to
make the task of preparing tests not only more organized and
documented , but also clearer and easier. According to team work
spirit , I've thought of something expected to be helpful for the teacher
, HOD & the supervisor in preparing , modifying & evaluating tests .
One of the criterions of a good test is variety . Whereas a
Multiple Choice question needs voc. of the same parts of speech , Gap
Filling question needs voc. of different parts of speech . Instead of
reading & classifying the whole Active Voc. according to the parts of
speech , it has become available now to have them ready classified .
Consequently , this saves both time & effort.
After writing his test, the teacher hands it to the HOD
whose role starts from now on checking , revising & evaluating.
Instead of referring to SB & WB, he can use " Word Reference". He
reads everything in the test & gets it easily, quickly & well documented.
It used to be quite difficult for the supervisor to check &
evaluate tests . But with " Word Reference " , I think , the task has
become easier . How ? Instead of referring to 9 books to check Period
Tests & 11 books to check 2nd
Session Tests , just few papers can
easily , concisely & precisely help do the task .
Finally , I hope that this work will be helpful and fruitful to
all .It is just a simple contribution . Many thanks .
