he Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ilorin, Prof. AbdulGaniyu Ambali (OON), has T
said that the University is committed to providing quality education to Nigerian youths, stressing that the current economic recession in the country should not be an excuse for the provision of sub-standard education at any level.
Prof. Ambali stated this last Tuesday (March 7, 2017), when he received in his office, staff members of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, who paid him a thank-you visit in appreciation of the University management's contribution to the recent full accreditation granted all the Faculty's academic programmes by the National Universities Commission (NUC).
The Vice-Chancellor told members of the Faculty staff that despite the economic recession, the University put a lot of energy and resources into all the Faculties to ensure that all their courses secure NUC's accreditation because the administration believes that the Nigerian youth must have access to standard education.
