RELAY 208 was obsoleted in 2013.

Since then we have frequently received many requests for analternative we have now found a reliable 8-channel relay box,that can be controlled by RS232.

From software version 001.034.069, we have now copied thesoftware functionality from the original RELAY 208 into theTT455-RT-238.

This means you can:- buy the above relay online- connect the relay to the TT455-RT-238- configure the timing and operation in the configurator- operate the relays by the B&O remotes colors- operate the relays by the B&O remotes numbers- activate and forget: the relays will automatically turn off as configured by you

Perfect for control of electrical:- curtains, shades, blinders- motors, lifts, light- etc.

Customer configurable

Each of the two IR receivers inputs may optionally:

Control the relays. Example: Control lights/curtains/blinders from two rooms. senda command holding the decoded IR signal to the any of the two commportsExample: Control a computer, a TT455-RT-238, etc.

Each of the two commports may optionally:

Control the relays. Example: From a computer, a TT455-RT-238, etc.Copy LinTronic protocols commands to the other commportExample: Control relays and a TT455-RT-238 on each commport,or let a computer control the relays and a TT455-RT-238 on the other commport.

These combinations offers a wide range of possibilites:

Two TT455-RT-238's may work together through a RELAY 208 offering remote control of RELAY 208 or ecah ofthe TT455-RT-238's from up to 4 rooms (or many more if you use the commports RS485 interface).Control both RELAY 208 and computer from up to 3 rooms (or many more if you use the commports RS485interface).The RELAY 208 may also work as a "communication converter" translating one set of commands into anotherset of commands working on the same or a different baudrate, even a different protocol.Get the most of of your RELAY 208. 1: COMMUNICATION RESET (only possible during power-up)In order to set default communication for both commports (address = 1 and baudrate = 19200,n,8,1): -press and hold this switch- apply power- wait for both LED indicators to turn on- release switch Heartbeat indicator

- blinks every second to confirm firmware is running

2: PROGRAMMINGIn some modes this switch can be used to adjust timing, etc.

OBSERVE:If you hold this switch activated during power-up, then LED 2 will turn on, indicating that you are about to enterour factory test-program. The test procedure is carried out by our production and is not public available. Simply releasethe switch and continue normal operation. If you want to test RELAY 208, then please do it in the Configurator.
