SAFETY
Cars do not care what grade in school that you are in
They do not give you a break because you are inexperienced
If you do something foolish- you can be injured or killed
You must complete on-line safety modules and pass the exam.
SHOP SAFETY EXAM
You MUST pass the exam with a 100% accuracy in order to be allowed to work in the lab. (This is not the on-line exam)
You will have a maximum of 3 attempts: 1st Friday, 2nd Monday, and 3rd Tuesday
Students who do not pass the exam will be removed from the course

Units and Reading Assignments
Look at your Reading Assignments- Note that you have 3 reading assignments for that unit and they must be done by Tuesday August 19th.
Each Unit has an assignment and a due date.
WARNING_ you may have a test on the material that day-without any further notice from the instructor

Each succeeding Unit works the same way
Make sure you have read your material before the due date for each unit.

Indicates what we will be doing on each of the days during this semester
Minor modifications may occur due to outside factors.
The overall structure won’t You should look at the unit tasks, look
at the time allotted, and make sure that you don’t fall behind in task completion

If we look back at Unit 3 Introduction, you will find that you must complete all of the tasks for that unit during Oct 20th, 21st, 22nd ,and 25th
The 22nd is a ½ lab- The other half of class is devoted to SkillsUSA
