Front loading single stage aqua spray washers for aqueous cleaning of small and medium sized components.

The spray wash machines provide excellent cleaning results due to:• High spray pressures and liquid flow rates from the built-in pump. • Spray system rotating around a fixed load

In order to work effectively on engine parts, they need to be thoroughly cleaned to remove scale, oil deposits and rust.

To meet the increasing need for suitable washing solutions, we have introduced both single stage aqua spray washers for overall cleaning of engine parts as well as advanced ultrasonic cleaners that will reach every orifice.

IDEAL FOR CLEANING OF:Heavy duty, rusty, oily and greasy engine components, such as: • Pistons • Cylinder heads • Valve spindles • Fuel injectors

As an extra feature, the SWM can be used for heating up engine parts, e.g. covers before welding, heat shrinking etc.

CYLINDER LINER MAINTENANCE

The operating conditions of power plant engines frequently result in increased liner wear and seized and broken piston rings, however cylinder liner surface imperfections caused in this environment can be rectified and prevented by regular honing.

By using Chris-Marine’s specially designed equipment, you not only reduce future liner- and piston ring wear and increase their life-time, but also reduce engine fouling and problems re-lated to blow-by and keeps the cylinder liner running costs at minimum.

STEP-BY-STEP PROCEDURE:

LOOSEN THE BOLTS WITH HPUBy using our reliable Hydraulic Power Units (HPU) with hoses and couplings you will loosen the stud bolts fast, efficiently and in a safe way.After assembling all parts, we secure everything with the HPU according to the engine manufacturer’s specifications.

HONE OR DEGLAZE TO RESTORE THE LINER WITH HONPerform deglazing or honing in accordance with the manufacturer’s specification using the portable honing machine HON S.

HONING RIGThe honing rig fits all power plant workshops and has been specifically developed for honing cylinder liners out of the engine. It has a robust and compact design and provides the optimal platform for the honing of cylinder liners.

ENSURE CORRECT SURFACE PROFILE WITH SRMDuring the honing operation, we strongly recommend our Surface Roughness Measuring device to measure the liner in order for you to be well aware of the condition during and after the operation.

By using the device frequently, you will know when you have achieved the correct surface profile according to the engine manufacturer’s specification, and avoid removing more material than needed.

Since Chris-Marine supplies all relevant equipment and data,

you do not require a skilled engineer to perform proper honing.

CYLINDER LINER MAINTENANCE

REMOVE THE PISTON RING WITH UPRELoosen the piston rings safely by using the Unistress Piston Ring Expander, which creates a uniform bending moment throughout the ring. Patented design that prevents stress in the piston ring.

Broken or worn out piston rings, excessive liner wear or worn valve seats lead to greatly increased lube oil consumption and can escalate to engine failures if not discovered in time. Such problems are easily detected by the DEC-TESTER, which is used to detect leakages in the combustion area.

Reduce emissions & engine foulingWhen a fuel injector performs less than optimal it can start opening at the wrong time as well as leak fuel before or after injection. This results in unnecessary fuel consumption and engine maintenance.

PATENTED TESTING TECHNOLOGYThe IOP Marine Injector SafeTest technology has evolved into a new generation of digital fuel injector testers designed for easier and more efficient maintenance of fuel injectors.

The guiding system ensures a much easier way to verify details critical to the actual injector performance and prevents insertion of injectors that previously would have caused excessive fuel consumption, higher emission and engine fouling, thus improving the fuel efficiency.

The Fuel Pump Tester is designed to measure and determine wear condition of fuel pumps on 4-stroke engines and compare it with existing performance data.

The computerized test unit is operated from the included PC with an application specifically made to process the data required for testing.

For each known fuel pump a “recipe” is available in the test application in which each combination of bottom/side positions is predefined.

The FPG grinding machine is designed for grinding of fuel system parts like pump heads, needle housings and fuel valve bodies for high and medium speed diesels engines.

The grinding machine is fast and easy to operate. It features a robust design as a professional tool for grinding of fuel system parts.
