Returning for its 11th edition, Transport Ticketing Global once again gathered a globalaudience of smart transport stakeholders to share the latest advancements in smartticketing and passenger engagement technology and set the industry agenda for theyear ahead. We were delighted to welcome more attendees, speakers and exhibitorsthan ever before.
Over 1000 industry professionals from leading organisations joined us from 65countries, making this a truly global event. We would like to thank our sponsors,exhibitors, speakers, partners, and of course, our audience, for the support that hasenabled us to build on last year’s successful event to host the largest gathering to date!
Featuring a three-theatre conference, Transport Ticketing Global 2019 explored theglobal vision for intelligent, interconnected, inclusive and cost effective publictransport. Key topics included the shift to Mobility as a Service (MaaS) and the sharingeconomy, public transport’s role in smart cities, connecting customers with transportoperators through mobile ticketing, EMV ticketing and the mobility account, utilizingtechnology to keep customers at heart and the role of smart data analytics inticketing and passenger engagement.
In recent years, we have seen fantastic innovation in smart transport, with somepioneering organisations creating and implementing ground-breaking ticketingtechnologies and truly embracing the digital revolution. We are delighted that theTransport Ticketing Global Awards were once again, able to recognise thoseorganisations that are driving innovation.
The amazing growth over the past 3 years has seen us move from a hotel to anexhibition venue and whilst we have loved our time at Old Billingsgate, it is time tomove on as Transport Ticketing Global has once again outgrown its home. We aredelighted to announce that 2020’s event will be moving to Olympia London, wherewe will occupy the National Hall.
