LOGOS
This is a logo that I created for a technology company in Grand Rapids. The business covers everything from data to
video to voice, making it a technology hub. The logo represents SG by name through a modern take on a sun burst. The sun burst is created by arrows pointing to the
center, representative of Sundancer Group as a hub.
This logo was created for a future online video competition. The client asked to see a logo that was
visually representative of taking video without showing a video camera in any way.
This logo was created for a forming non-profit organization in Grand Rapids, Mchigan. The client spoke with my colleage - with
the informatoin he came to me with, I created this logo.
While the organization liked the logo, they felt that it failed to accurately express the identity of their brand. I arranged for a
direct meeting with the client to better understand who they are and what they do. After meeting with the client, I understood the
issues and created a completely different logo.
The new logo incorporated the rugged, youthful feel that the non-profit wanted to convey. I hand-made the font for the logo to
give the logo the exact feel requested from the client.
The client was completely happy with the logo, and selected this as the final logo for the brand.
BRANDING
I have a passion for branding and a drive to improve and push my skills. I decided to fully brand a fake company to give myself
a venue for this self-improvement. This is a sample of the various pieces that I have created for this “brand”.
Basic Brand Identity
color palette
Stacked’s tone is playful and fun, but still provides the rich detail needed to sell gourmet ice cream. We’re trying new, innovative, and exciting flavors that we want people to have fun with. We believe that gourmet doesn’t have to be stuffy.
Simply put, there’s nothing better than enjoying high-quality, gourmet ice cream that’s dripping down your arm. That’s what we’re about.

Business Card
Don’t let the name fool you. This little guy packs a big punch. You’ve got six scoops to work with here, so choose wisely. Our suggestion? Put your favorites on the top. You’ll eat them faster and make it to the bottom before it all melts. At least we hope.

COLLATERAL
These are cards that I created for various partners for Heart of West Michigan United Way. The purpose of these cards was to provide a memorable take-away after direct contact with
a member from the group. The card’s main goal was to direct these individuals to the website for more information.

Buzz Poster
This is a poster that I created for a scavenger hunt that is held in Downtown Grand Rapids. The hunt was a United Way
benefit that featured companies like Steelcase, Meijer, Amway, and Wolverine WorldWide. The purpose of the poster was to simply generate buzz, with more information to come later.

SUSTAINING OUR WATER, WORK, AND LIVES: BECOMING A MEMBER IS ACTION.
WMEAC and its members have played a key role in making West Michigan a desirable community. Our history includes successful efforts to ban the pesticide DDT, keep plutonium out of West Michigan and pass landmark laws such as the Michigan Environmental Protection Act and the Michigan Bottle Bill. Active members see the fruit of their labors in their daily lives, in nature, in the local economy, and on the news.

PROTECTING OUR WATER
BUILDING SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITIES
What greater resource do we have than water? It’s an essential part of our lives. For generations WMEAC has worked to protect our local waterways. Today we are actively engaged in the fight against aquatic invasive species, stormwater runoff, water retailing, and other key threats to our most treasured natural resource.
Climate change. Natural resource scarcity. Environmental health issues. As a region and as a planet, these issues and other emerging concerns will change the way we live. WMEAC and its members are working to build our communities toward a more sustainable future.
