Hiring a new employee is always a demanding task. Even large companies that have excelled at selection process admit it. Why? Because it matters. It matters who you hire.

The purpose of this portfolio is not to make your selection easy - but rather to help you make an informed decision. To give you an impression how I can contrib-ute to your company and make your/our company better at reaching its goals.

“Getting better” is exactly what I believe in. It is the main reason why I initiate. I start-up projects, I create visions, I strate-gise.

I am a generalist. I try to see beyond boundaries, beyond the existing and the obvious.

I am curious and creative, but analytical. I am a youth leader, initiator, magazine editor, entrepreneurial mind, young strategist, and a Slovenian coming from a pocket-sized country with a pocket-sized capital ... living on the crossroads of two mentalities: the Central European “plan-ning” and the Balkan “anything goes”.

ANALYSIS + POLICYYOUTH STRATEGYMunicipality of Idrija (Slovenia) is a rather small Alpine municipality with rich mining history, in-scribed on UNESCO World Heritage List. Periph-eral location and limited employment possibilities force many young ambitious people to leave it. The mayor and municipality wanted to tackle youth is-sues with a comprehensive set of youth policies that would retain ambitious and entrepreneurial youth.

Challenge:(s)• analyse the youth of Municipality of

Idrija and develop municipal youth strategy

Solution(s):• create a platform of youth organisa-

tions to gather inputs and broaden the reach

• prepare an engaging online survey to gather rich inputs (300 participants)

• engage local stakeholders and decision makers

• identify strategic capabilities and chal-lenges of the municipality in the field of youth

• develop a vision, aims, goals and propose holistic strategy for a five-year period

and leave it to younger generations when at peak performance

cal stakeholders and decision makers• coordinate youth groups in order to

LEADERSHIP + EDITINGTBI MAGAZINECommunication is a never-ending challenge. Young entrepreneurs and activists of Idrija have been facing the challenges of “being misper-cieved”, “being unheard”, and “not taken serious-ly”. With the establishment of a high-quality mag-azine featuring youth-led initiatieves we managed to change public image and became thought lead-ers of local community.

BRANDING + STRATEGY

THE IDRIA LACEFor centuries, Idrija lace has been a synonym for quality, prestige and an established reputation. Unfortunately, after WWII it bacame viewed as a thing of the past, grand-mothers and obsolete. Our aim was to revive this old tradition and create a new contemporary brand.

hand-made lace-making

Solution(s):• create a modern luxury brand with

distinct contemporary visual identity• connect young designers with elderly

new purposes (e.g. dream catchers)
