Kasper René Hansen

I am a danish industrial designer, studying in masters level at Kolding School of Design. My work is about giving meaning to industrial design products by observing, understanding and converting users needs into new products. Important for me, is to create new products, which create pleasures and make life easier for the user, a new product with a function and a purpose. I am researching and analyzing to define the users main problemstatement, develop the concepts, start working with shape, function, modelbuilding, construction, usertests, 3D modelling and rendering.

Technologies and functionality fascinate me. From these aspects comes my creativity, and the ability to provide my new solutions. For me is design improving the world, changing way we live. I can work alone, in teams and international cooperation.

The charger when it hangs on the wall.

A speaker that can be hung on a wall, placed, or bring your own. The speaker has an opening/closing function, one speaker section is shifted and the handle appears, when it must be brought. The speaker has built-in battery, buttons and connected with airplay for any model phone, computer or iPad.

Concept The chair is a multifunctional stick chair in 2 parts for assemble yourself principle, which means that the detachable parts in 2 different ways, which giving 2 different chairs as needed.

The Poetry of Dance:When you dance, you express feeling. The feelings you express occur through motion, and the motion begins at your feet.

The mild balletshoe:This is a full comfortable and functional balletshoe, which protects your feet when you dance. This shoe represents the positive side of the balletdance.

The wild balletshoe:This is an uncomfortable and unfunctional shoe , which represents the negative side of the balletdance. When you dance, you destroy your feet over time, and this shoe shows the painfull feeling in the balletdance.

Lego - sound

Lego sound is a new system of Lego bricks with sound. Each brick has its own category of sound, and when you come closer to the brick with your hand, the brick starts to make a sound. Then you build a character, an animal or an object, depending on which sound the brick does. Then later if you shake the brick, the sound changes to something else in the same category, which makes you building something else. Lego sound is a playstarter to build and play, depending on the sound.

The Concept:The product is a motorized toilet chair, a vehicle that prevent patientfall, by helping the patient from the bedside to the toilet. The product increases patient safety and gives the patient a greater degree of autonomy. It is electrically driven control by the patient self, and robot drived by censors at the toilet. The project is made in colaboration with Kolding Hospital.

Target Audience: Older difficulty walking informed people Elderly people who can stuff themselves, but are physically disabled Elderly people who want to be so even helped as possible Age 65 + New-operated

The typical way of the patient from bed to toilet, where the patientfall takes place.

Automatic controled by censors on the toilet.Handle of backrest - acts as support when the patient should be out of bed. Electronic control staff - for placement and removal of the product by the patient.

Both armrests can be looked up.Location on both sides of the bed (which side of the bed patient can best get out). Handles on both armrests (recognizable from electric scooter for the elderly). Right and left-handed.

A wild folding bike concept where all folds at once for a small compact bike. The bike is folded like an N, the two pivots, where the saddle and and crank folds with down and lies on top of the wheels. The bike contains ball bearings in the frame where both wheels and ped-al shaft running around. The bike is pinion geared which turn a round cog in the rear pivot by folding.

Bachelorproject - the mild folding bikeThe concept is a folding bike that provides a greater freedom of movement, that it can be folded and taken anywhere in public space, on the bus, on the train, at home. The idea of the bike is that it must be clear and easily readable how the bike should be folded and trans-ported, be easy to carry, and a better ergonomic.

It is made of aluminium with leatherhandle, and it has only one button which lights up when it is switched on.

Lego Technic Lamborghini Gallardo 1:10.

The car is constructed and build by myself, it is lego technic inside and normal standard lego bricks on the outside. It is driving perfectly, and really strong constructed. The car has 10 cylinder motor, working gearing and handbrake system, front and back lights, turnable frontwheels and opening/closing doors.
