Senior Vac- an ergonomic vaccum cleaner for elderly people

Bachelor thesis - product design engineering program at Chalmers University of Technology. The task was to design and develope a vaccum cleaner for elderly people. This resulted in a ergonomic and retro looking vaccum cleaner with only the most important functions.

TFA multipack- packaging design for Tetra Pak

Master thesis for the master program Industrial design engineering at Chalmers University of Technology. The task was to design a multi package for Tetra Pak’s economic package TFA. The price of the package had to be as low as possible but still have great display and carrying abilities.

Resulted in these three

different concept suggestions.

Joystick-reach stacker Kalmar Industries

Development of an ergonomic joystick to a reach stacker. The result became an organic shaped joystick with easy to reach buttons and a comfortable hand grip. The number of buttons was reduced and got positioned in a more ergonomic way both physically and interactivlly.

The production of the joystick started in the spring of 2012 at Kalmar industries Sweden.

Winner in the course - Advance computer aided product development

Visual Brand- Volvo Car Corporation

The project carried out in Visual Brand Identity and Market Analy-sis contains an analysis of Volvo’s identity and their visual appear-ance. The design factors have been analyzed through field tripsat Volvo’s museum and a car re-tailer as well as creative analysis methods as Historical Design Analy-sis, Design Format Analysis and an online questionnaire. The results was summerised asinnovation flowers, conceptual posters, material and color maps and personalities. The facts have been used in creating a fictive brand that communicate Volvo brand recognition through explicit and implicit design keys. The product is a carry-on trolley that suits an elderly target group that commands quality and safty in their everyday life. The design strategy is pre-mium design for all.

Sphere-form study

A form study of a sphere. Research of how a sphere can be transformed and changed but still be able to go back to its original shape.

Advance form- a outdoor furniture sculpture for public areas

As city populations are growing and technology moves forward, it often do so at the expense of nature.Inner city parks are replaced by shopping malls and car parks and people do not prioritise to go to the outskirts of the city. In an everyday city environment people seldom come in contact with nature such as trees and green grass, and in places with high skyscrapers even the sky can be a rare sight. This form driven project therefore aimed at bringing nature into urban areas and remind people that there is a flourishing growthbeneath the concrete layer.

Move About- recharging station for electrical cars

The Norwegian company Move About has launched the first electric car-pool system in the world, in Gothenburg. Move About is part of a sustainable urban mobility movement that compliments public transportation, bike share programs and other initiatives to provide an alternative to private vehicle ownership.

The car-pool systems’ recharge station are represented as both complete re-charge stations, with seat, roof and garbage sorting can, and as single, stand-alone re-charge units.
