It has 1500 acres, so how to implant different programs into the site and integrate them together is quite important in this project. The idea is to demolish the runway 2 and 3, and remain runway 1 to function as a rapid response air drop team in case of the disaster. In addition,we also introduce agriculture and live stock field to provide food production. We also look into the local traffic condition, and try to use different ways to make connection with the surrounding neighborhood. Different training relax activities are generated around the site. We also propose an idea to use such abandoned site to make a big system to solve the stress made by disasters.
