How to use RIDLICE?Before each use shake bottle well.Remove the cap and screw the applicator onto the bottle.Apply the solution to the roots of dry and combed hair.Massage RIDLICE in, ensuring that the entire scalp and all the hair is covered with the solution.Leave solution on the hair for 10 minutes.Comb the entire hair using the comb provided, to remove the dead head lice and their eggs.Wash the hair using an ordinary shampoo. Conditioner will not be necessary. It may be necessary to wash the hair once again to completely remove the solution.Repeat the treatment after 7 days, to kill head lice eggs that might have hatched during this period.Remove the applicator and screw the original cap back onto the bottle in order to maintain the quality of the solution.Keep the applicator to repeat usage.

How to store RIDLICE?Store in a cool and dry place, keep out of the reach of children and infants. Keep the bottle in the carton box, closed with the original cap and away from direct sunlight.Do not use after the date of expiry.

A few useful facts about head lice treatment: Head lice are tiny insects found only on humans. Head lice attach themselves to the scalp, close to the roots of the hair. Head lice live their entire life on the human head and depend on human blood for nourishment, sucking the blood 4 to 5 times a day by perforating the skin on the host’s scalp. The length of the louse depends on its development and ranges anywhere from 1 to 3 mm. Its color changes according to the time that has passed since its last meal and can be gray, brown or red.How are lice transmitted?

Head lice are usually transmitted from person to person merely through head-to-head contact. This head-to-head contact may occur when children are conversing or playing, or during close physical contact between parents and their children or between siblings.Lice are rarely transmitted through shared combs, tooth brushes, towels, hats, clothing or bedding. Swimming pool water does not transmit head lice nor do house pets such as dogs and cats.Preparations containing pesticides (based on organic phosphorescent materials) do not achieve 100% “kill rate”. Head lice develop resistance to most chemical preparations, rendering them less and less effective with each treatment. Hence, it is recommended to use non-pesticide preparations, such asRIDLICE, which is not harmful to the scalp.A single treatment will not suffice for the destruction of lice. Treatment must be repeated after 7 days, after all the eggs have hatched, and before the nymphs become adult lice, to ascertain that all the head lice have been destroyed.Do not use kerosene to treat head lice - it may cause burning of the scalp, and kerosene fumes may cause chemical pneumonia. Head lice contagion is the same both in boys and girls. Girls contract head lice twice as much as boys. It is unknown whether the reason is biological or if it is due to the fact that girls normally have longer hair and tend to engage in closer physical contact with their friends than boys do.Hair color does not repel lice, therefore using it, does not ensure resistance to head lice.
