The working tool of S40 is composed ofindependently movable,
towed and spa-cious broom aggregates. The 1’000 mmwide cylindrical
broom and the discbroom with Ø 700 carry the wastetowards the broad
suction mouth.Therefore you can reach sweepingwidths of up to 2’200
mm with one sin-gle aggregate. With the dual sweepingsystem
(optional) a sweeping width of3’250 mm can be achieved and you
cansweep both sides simultaneously. Thedisc brooms are fitted with
stage lessspeed adjustment of 0 – 120 rpm andthe cylindrical broom
– with a pressureadjustment by potentiometer in thecabin. On demand
we can as well deliverinclination adjustment for the discbroom.
Useful tip: The bearings can be greasedand the sweeping units
manually set.
The 4m3 hopper with the 750 l freshwater tank is made entirely
of stainlesssteel 1.4301 (V2A) and impresses withits robust
construction whilst keepinglow weight at the same time. Having
norough edges, it can easily be cleanedand thus unnecessary
stand-by time atthe maintenance depot avoided.
The engine bay is coated with non-combustible insulation mats
and makesthe machine a low-noise worker with 99 db/A in hydrostatic
version. 4 flash-light bars take care of your security. Theintegral
construction principle leads aswell to low operation costs.

The versatile S40 is perfectly suitedfor various sweeping tasks
for muni-cipal work or for private service providers.It’s mounted
on a Mitsubishi Fusochassis and can be driven with up to80 km/h to
any operation site. Notonly does the serial EURO V engineprove its
economical consciousness,but it is also very silent and has lowfuel
consumption.

The drive is performed by a 3-cylinderEuromot 3A engine with
24.5 kW, thespeed can be adjusted to three stages,ranging from 700
to 2200 rpm. The turbine is driven by a ribbed V-belt and a fully
automatic, maintenance-free cen-trifugal clutch. Made of
wear-resistantmaterials and well-designed, the turbineis
particularly ecological and silent. Longdurability of the V-belt
without re-stretching makes the drive economic.
Alternatively S40 can be fitted withhydrostat that allows very
smooth dri-ving and also prevents clutch damages. The water-valves
are activated electricallyfrom the cabin and thereby every waterjet
on the sweeping units can be indivi-dually adjusted. A water-level
indicator is integrated in the control unit, which,with its
practical design offers greatcomfort and high security
operationfrom the cabin. On demand a mini control unit with the
most importantswitches can be installed on the driver’sdoor.

onthe roof of the vehicle having a 3.5 mlong, Ø 150 mm hose. The
hose-rack on the back also contains a controller.Water supply with
a quick coupler, water nozzle on the hand piece and an opening in
the hopper on the roof simplify the operation.
