POLISH INTERNETMINISTRY OVERVIEW

The Polish version of Jesus.net: Looking For God was launched online on July 29, 2008, heralding a new era in our media-focused ministry of outreach evangelism.

Page 2: Polish Internet Ministry Overview

In 2004 and 2006 a Festival Of Life event was organised in Wisła with the help of Horizon International Church from San Diego.

This mass event brought together believers from all denominations for the first time in our region on such a scale. From this, many deep friendships have been forged, built upon a high level of trust and confidence developed in each other, and based on common prayer and evangelistic zeal.

After those two festivals we knew that we didn’t want to become just a festival agency, so for several months we met for prayer, both in groups and individually to seek God’s guidance for the future.

Then, during a visit to United Christian Broad-casters (UCB) we were introduced to the Jesus.net concept, developed in France by Eric Celerier and his team. Watching a Google map showing the place of latest conversion was a thrill. Oh, yes, we had to have it in Poland!

It took quite some time to get the system into Polish, and finally, on July 29, 2008 for the first time Google World zoomed in on Poland showing a decision for Christ via our Polish “Looking

For God” website! There were tears of joy; it worked in our country and in our culture.

While keeping the Jesus.net basic structure in the center of all we do, our objective is to work towards

accomplishing measurable outcomes.

Soon, by adding additional tools, the care offered to these converts was improved.

While the final goal is to lead people to a Christ-centered fellowship (Church),

there are several “stepping stones”, so named to conjure up a mental pic-ture of stones in a mountain stream, helping us get across with dry feet. After implementation of the initial Jesus.net strategy, seekers should be guided onto paths that lead towards spiritual maturity.

To date, over 2,070,000 unique visi-tors have come into our “Looking For God” website, some 280,000 of these

have clicked the “YES” button and over 30,000 have filled in a contact

form. For the personal contact to minister to these, over 350 E-coaches

have been trained (150 are active every day); a chat service was added, and a bulle-

tin for those who are uneasy with personal contact. Over 1,000 trained small group

leaders are involved in the offline live follow-up projects. Programs are divided into four catego-

ries: Access, Know, Grow and Share.

The following pages give an overview of programs which are working well for us.

Web starting point, strategic opening of Jesus.net outreach; it introduces the biblical message of salvation in a friendly manner targeted at seekers who need love, compassion, help, a new beginning.

Developed in France by Top Chrétien and carefully contextualized to local culture – offers all those interested sufficient information to be able to start a personal relationship with Jesus and with an e-coach, a personal, spiritual assistant.

WHYJESUS?

WhyJesus? is an effective online evangelism tool to help online seekers understand the basics of the Christian faith.

Why Jesus? is an online course developed in the Netherlands by E.O. (a Dutch TV channel). It introduces, in a 5 week series, the basic truths about salvation and enables one-to-one correspondence with a trained e-coach.

It helps participants to understand what “clicking the button” really means.

CHRISTIANITYEXPLORED

Christianity Explored is a small group, home or church program introducing anyone interested to the biblical message of the Gospel of Mark and to friendly fellowship with believers.

Developed in Great Britain, it offers leader guides and support material, plus videos with Rico Tice explaining the gospel in an interesting and attractive way.

We have also developed in Poland an online version of Christianity Explored, targeted at people who cannot find local believers conducting similar programs nearby.

CHRISTIAN TO THE CORE (GROW)Christian to the Core is a small group, home or church discipleship program based on eight pillars of the Christian life

Developed in the USA by the International Leadership Institute, it is ideal for introducing the seriousness of the call of Jesus, with all the consequences of becom-ing His follower and disciple. Hundreds of groups have already studied it in Poland; it is very practical and challenging. There is also a youth version called History Makers, a week-long conference for people aged 18 – 30.

Seeing the great quality of the printed material, an online version was developed, called Grow. There are now several mutations available, easily accessible over the net. Polish name: Akademia+

THE TRUTH PROJECT

12 DVD lectures in biblical worldview, responding to the desperate needs of contemporary believers, often lost in the battle for the mind raging in today’s culture.

Developed in the USA by Focus on the Family, Dr. Dell Tacket explains the Biblical worldview and how much it differs from the worldview prevalent in our media, and even (sometimes) in churches!

12 DVD lectures and a supporting student study book. All group leaders must be trained at special one day sessions and a online version of the training is now available. Over 1,000 small groups in Poland have used it so far (!).

OUTBACK POLSKA A family movement focused on improving parent – teenager and married couples relationships.

Newly introduced to Poland (in 2013), it has already rescued a number of marriages and resolved family issues.

It is based on precisely prepared, entertaining and “fun” weekends, “everlasting adventure” with a very deep (often most penetrating in a lifetime?) discovery of a solution that is prepared in God’s plan.

This work is suported by men’s weekly meetings (usu-ally at 6 a.m.), where sharing and helping one another to become “the man God has planned” is the goal.

MYSTORY.ME

www.MyStory.me

MyStory.me is a great way to share the reality of our life with Christ with our friends.

Our personal story, written (can be multi-lingual) and filmed (could be filmed on mobile phone) is shared by giving our friends and acquaintances a business card with the direct link online to our testimony.

It offers a 4-lesson preparation course, available in both offline (printed) and online versions, targeted at people of all ages. It practically teaches how to share Christ in a contemporary way, and then, when some of your contacts will become interested – how, as an E-friend, to guide them towards Christ.

MAPA system to connect visitors with people offline, in the events, small groups, fellowships and churches where new seekers will be welcomed.

When people finish on-line courses, they are invited to meet people with similar interests in their area, preferably in an unobtrusive, comfortable environ-ment where they will receive a warm welcome – like Christianity Explored, Alpha courses, etc. This could be also a Christian concert or special fellowship tar-geted at new people.

Interested churches and organizers are invited to promote their special events on this platform. The goal is to bring people closer to Christ and fully trust the Holy Spirit for further guidance.

DEOrecordings Association, known also as CCM Media, started its outreach in 1975 as a Christian music group called DEOdecyma.

Since then the Lord has led us down many paths and into many situations. A professional music studio was added, then publishing and distribution of Christian music and films and, in 1997, an FM radio network that now operates six transmitters in the South of Poland. having a strong market position with a weekly audience of 764,000.

In 2008 a major Internet involvement started with Jesus.net. Now it also hosts a Software Development Team (SDT) and Content Development Group (CDG) that seeks to meet the expectations of today’s secular audience to connect them to the Message of Jesus Christ and lead them towards a personal relationship with Him.

In addition to 36 full time staff, hundreds of e-coaches, e-friends and small group leaders are involved as volunteers.

New Europe Communications (NEC) – is our US based non-prof-it 501-c3 organization with the primary goal of facilitating the growth of the evangelism work in Poland, as undertaken by DEO-recordings Association.
