Greetings from Principal’s Desk.
Dr. Bhaskar V H,
Principal
Dear Readers,
It gives me immense pleasure in introducing the
college and its journey from 2006 to 2016.
Dr. Om Gahlot, Chairman of “Late Smt. Hanjabai
Gahlot Charitable Trust”, established “Gahlot Insti-
tute of Pharmacy” in 2006, to provide the best qual-
ity education in the field of pharmacy.
Under the guidance of former Principal, Dr Rajani Shettigar, the college started its
first year with four faculty members. Over the period of the next four years, the fa-
cilities of the college were strengthened to fulfill all regulatory norms. As a result,
the college was approved by Pharmacy Council of India, Delhi under section 12 of
Pharmacy Act.
I was appointed as “Leader” to the team of my faculty, staff and students in October
2012. We worked together as a team and got approval for a new course i.e. M. Phar-
macy in Quality Assurance from University of Mumbai. I am proud to tell you that
our first batch of M Pharm students has successfully passed out and all of them are
employed with reputed Pharmaceutical firms.
The Institute has successfully completed ten years of existence. In this period, six
batches of B Pharm students have passed out with flying colors. We intend to cele-
brate this achievement with our alumni in the next academic year. On this occasion,
we will be coming out with a souvenir reflecting the past ten years in all their glory.
Inorder to keep the students updated about the various activities conducted in college
and to keep them informed about upcoming events, faculty members have decided to
publish a quarterly newsletter for internal circulation. I wholeheartedly support this
idea and welcome you all to the very first edition of the newsletter.
With the blessing of Almighty, support of Chairman and of course whole hearted co-
operation of my team members we will continue to grow in leaps and bounds.
Many things are there to write. See you all in next news letter, until then bye-bye.
FROM THE EDITOR'S DESK We are very delighted to share the
first newsletter issue 2016 of Gahlot
Institute of Pharmacy. The news let-
ter reflects the introduction to our
faculty, current college activities
which outclass the excellence, iden-
tity, recognition and also maintains
high scholastic principles to dissemi-
nate the light of Pharmaceutical edu-
cation and hereby congratulating the
faculty and students for their genuine
expertise and skillfulness to make
this victorious. We appreciate input
of all the faculty and students.
