God our heavenly Father, you give to each the ability to share your generative love. Bless those women in our lives who mirror

your love and bring forth life through their willingness to risk bringing new life into this world. Help us to show them our

gratitude for the gift of life and the gift of a mother's love. May our life-giving God continue to bless them and show them his unfailing love. We ask this through Jesus, God's Son and our

brother. Amen.

Do you ever think of Jesus and his disciples and how amazing it would have been directly in the midst of Our Savior....? Peter, is the rock whom Jesus asked to build His church; our Catholic Church. Look at Footprints of God with Steven Ray, particularly Season 1, Episode 7 titled: Peter the Keeper of the Keys. Peter has been referenced as the Rock, the Fisher of Men and Head of The Church. In this episode Stephen follows Peter‘s path from Galilee to Jerusalem to Rome. You will learn answers to questions about The Pope and find out why Jesus did indeed choose Peter. On top of learning these answers you’ll be somewhat on a trip; seeing things we can’t currently see due to our circumstances of quarantine.

Happy Mother’s Day to all who serve in the role of mothering others. Take some time parents, mothers of young children and listen to an interview with Elizabeth Ficocelli, acclaimed author and In Motherhood Matters Season 1, episode 4: Helping Our

Kids Develop a Relationship with Jesus is marvelous.

In order for us to help our children develop a relationship with Jesus, we need to look at our own relationship with Jesus. This

author shares insights that are helpful and relevant. Many Catholic struggle with the idea of relationship with Jesus. She

provides simple steps to help our children develop this relationship.Listen to this episode; listen to all because I think

all can say Motherhood Matters. https://watch.formed.org/motherhood-matters

FAITH FORMATION Our students have been preparing since January to receive their First Holy Communion. Our plans were set a little off course with the everything happening in our world. While Sunday, May 3 was to be their sacrament day, we still made it special by hand delivering

fresh homemade breads to each of their homes. They were asked to share the loaf with their families and be ready when we can share the bread of life at the table of the Lord.

Here you can see Ryan Olsen excited with his special loaf. We are anxious for the day when we can celebrate together.

JOINT FAITH FORMATION UPDATE A letter from Father Joe is going home this week to all Faith Formation families regarding next year's program. More information will be included in next week's bulletin.
