Workshop Goal
The purpose of this workshop is to provide with an overview of the college planning process and available resources.

Student Excellence Equals Degree (SEED)
The Delaware SEED scholarship program provides tuition for full time students enrolled in an associate's degree program at Delaware Technical Community College (DTCC) or the Associate of Arts program at the University of Delaware (UD).
SEEDEligibility Requirements
Student must graduate from a public or non-public Delaware high school in 2010.
Student must meet the residency requirements of the enrolling Institution (either DTCC or UD).
Student must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4-point scale or 80% on a 100-point scale as indicated on the student's official high school transcript.
Student must satisfy the admission standards of the enrolling Institution (either DTCC or UD).
Student must not have been convicted of any felonies. Student must enroll in either DTCC or the AA Program at UD no later than
the fall immediately following graduation in college-bearing courses.
DELAWARE RESIDENT
To qualify as a Delaware resident for tuition purposes, the student or parent of a dependent student must have been domiciled in Delaware for at least twelve consecutive full months as of the first day of class in which such classification is sought.

DTCC September – December Submit an Application for Admission with a one-time, non-refundable
$10 application fee to attend the fall semester. Applications may be requested by phone, mail, via the Web (www.dtcc.edu/admisssions ), or from your high school counselor. Apply early for admission!
January 15 Apply for financial aid and submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by April 1 to the federal processor. A student must apply for financial aid by submitting a FAFSA. (FAFSA form available after January 1, 2008.)
January – April Participate in the college testing and placement program or provide official scores from SAT/ACT tests to the campus Admissions Office
April 15 Submit the SEED Scholarship Application by the priority deadline of April 15 to the campus Financial Aid Office.
April – May Schedule your acceptance interview with a counselor after taking the college placement test.
June 30 Submit your final official high school transcript by June 30 to the campus Financial Aid Office.
July 15 Wait for campus notification of your SEED Scholarship eligibility. Notifications are sent after July 15.
