Indiahasavastpopulationofyoungpeople,withmorethanhalfofitspopulationof1.2billionyoungerthan25.Eachmonth,

1millionyoungIndiansentertheworkforce–apatternthatwillcontinueforthenexttwodecades.Theendresultisthatthe

governmentestimatesthat500millionyoungpeoplemustbetrainedby2022.1

Inordertoaddressthispopulationsurge,largercompaniessuchasHindustan,UnileverandTataarerunningwhatareeffectively

in-houseuniversitiesforpreparingnewrecruits.Tata’sspecialcampusinsouthIndiatrainsaround9,000recruitsatatime,foran

averageof10weeks.However,manysmallerfirmslacktheresourcestoruntrainingprograms.2

AmritDhillon,aDelhibasedjournalist,arguesthat“Academiccoursesaremisalignedwiththeneedsofthemarketplace,andturn

outstudentswhoaregoodatmemorizinginformationbutpooroncriticalthinkingandcomprehension.”3

The traditionalpath tosuccess–primaryeducation,college,anda lifetimecareeratonecompany– is increasingly rare.This

generationneedsnovelsolutionstointractableproblemsandorganizationsnimbleandcreativeenoughtoprovideanswers.CSSG

isnotonlyacreativecharity,butacharitydedicatedtocreativity.

CSSGprovidesopportunitiesforthemostmarginalizedyoungpeopleinIndia,assistingtheminworkingtowardscreatingafinancially

securefutureforthemselves.Specificallybyopeningthecreativesectorstoyoungpeoplebydevelopingskills,vocationaltraining,

andpersonalizedmentorshipCSSGcreatestheopportunityforameaningfulcareer.

Ourultimatemissionistoprovideaschoolofexcellencetothoseyouthinneedofassistanceinordertogivethemtheopportunity

toreceivethebestqualityvocationaltraining,mentoringandcareerexposure,inanengaginglearningenvironmentinorderto

maximizeallstudents’potentialforemployability.

CSSG has developed a plan for the period 2015 to 2220.Everyprogrammeandactivitywillbeconductedhaving inmindthe

ultimatemission.Through awareness, training, mentoring, and exposure, every youth will receive CSSG’s support to succeed in

any of the creative sector areas.ThefollowingdocumentpresentsfurtherdetailsaboutCSSG’s general objectives for 2020, as

well as the specific objectives, expected outcome and activities planned for 2015.

Everymonthonemillion Indians turn18andenter theworkforce. 4 Weworkwith thosewhoare looking for a creativepath

forward;peoplewhoaregoingtoleadthecreativeservices.

CSSGworkswithchildrenwhoaretoooldformanynon-profitsbuttooyoungtohavesettledintoacareer.Theseyouthcomefrom

adiversearrayofbackgrounds,buttheyareallatleasteighteenandlookingforachancetoapplytheirtalents.Manyofouryouth

comefromseveralfeedercharitiesthatwehavepartneredwithovertheyears.

OnceayouthjoinsCSSG,weprovideintensivetraininginthecareerpathofinterestthroughworkshopsandinteractivesessions

ledbyindustryexpertsfromaroundtheworld.Weworktofindajobplacementinoneofourcreativesectors,wherewepairour

youthwithamentorwhowillprovideguidancethroughoutthetrainingandjobplacementprocess.

CSSGprogrammesandactivitieshavebeenorganizedinfourmainareas:

a) awarenessbuilding&talentidentification;

b) educationandvocationaltraining;

c) mentoring;and,

d) career exposure and placement.

ThedecisiontoworkwithintheCreativesectors(Food, Literature, Art, Design, Architecture, Fashion, Music, Dance, Theatre,

Film, Broadcast, Advertising, Technology and Policy)wasaconsciousone;asAnandKapoor,founderofCSSG,hasaptlypointed

out,everysectorbeitheavyindustryormanufacturingisnowadaysinfluencedbythecreativesectors.5

Furthermore,creativityhasbeenproventobeasourceofgrowth--growingatanimpressive14%annuallybetween2002and

2008,allwhilstit’semployeesenjoyedgreaterjobsecurityandearnings.6RichardFlorida,anAmericanurban-studiestheorist,

addsthat“Notonlydocreativeworkersearnmuchmore,onaverage,thanthelargenumberofpeoplewhodolow-endservice

workorrotemanufacturing;theyalsogettodomoreenjoyableworkandtheycontributemorebyaddingcreativevalue.”7

A2010UNreportarguesthat,especiallyindevelopingcountries,thecreativeeconomyfundamentallyaddstogrowthandprosperity:

“Adequatelynurtured,creativityfuelsculture,infusesahuman-centereddevelopmentandconstitutesthekeyingredientforjob

creation,innovationandtradewhilecontributingtosocialinclusion,culturaldiversityandenvironmentalsustainability.”

Lastly,employmentinthecreativesectorstypicallyrequireslessfinancialinvestmentinformalacademia.Trainingcanbedoneon

thejobwhilstsimultaneouslymakinganinstantcontributiontoemployers,thusmakingthecreativesectorsmoreaccessiblefor

theunderprivileged.

CSSGbelievesthatequalopportunitiesshouldbegiventopeopleregardlessoftheirupbringing.Itaimstobreakdownthebarriersto

equalityofopportunitybyprovidingvocationaltrainingwithinjobplacementstoyoungadultsfromunderprivilegedbackgrounds,

inotherwordsleaningonthejob.CSSGprovidesopportunitiesforthemostmarginalizedyoungpeopleinIndia,assistingthemin

workingtowardscreatingafinanciallysecurefutureforthemselves.Specificallybyopeningthecreativesectorstoyoungpeopleby

developingskills,vocationaltraining,andpersonalizedmentorshipCSSGcreatestheopportunityforameaningfulcareer.

Our Approach

CSSGworkswithchildrenwhoaretoooldtoformanynon-profitsbuttooyoungtohavesettledintoacareer,especiallyinthe

creativesector.Indeed,CSSGbelievesthatnoteveryonewillhavetheopportunityortheintellectualcapacitytobecomeadoctor

oralawyerandthereforeitisimportantforchildrenandyoungadultstounderstandtheotheralternatives,whichexistoutsideof

theseprofessionalframeworks.

Theseyouthcomefromadiversearrayofbackgrounds,buttheyareallatleasteighteenandlookingforachancetoapplytheir

talents.Manyofouryouthcomefromseveralfeedercharitiesthatwehavepartneredwithovertheyears.Onceayouthjoins

CSSG,weprovide intensive training in the creative careerpathof interest throughworkshopsand interactive sessions ledby

industryexpertsfromaroundtheworld.Duringthistrainingprocess,weworktopairouryouthwithamentorwhowillprovide

guidancethroughouttheprocess.Oncetrainingiscomplete,weworktofindajobplacementinoneofourcreativesectors.

Why we do it

Afteracarefulneedsassessment,CSSGrealizedthatthereisadistressinglackofsupportforunderprivilegedyoungindividuals,

toprovidethemwithskillstrainingandmentorshipwithinthecreativesectors.Itwasalsoclearthattherearealreadyavariety

oforganizationsfocusedonvocationaltraining,bothfor-profitandnon-profit.Nevertheless,theyaremainlypreparingpeople

forcareersashairdressers,machinistsortoperpetuateIndia’srichculturalheritagethroughtrainingintraditionalhandicraftsor

performancearts.CSSGseekstogoaboveandbeyondvocationaltraining,byexplainingnotjustthetechnicalknowledgebutinstill

acreativeabilitytorethink,reinvent,andreimaging.

CSSG is a youngnon-profitwith big dreamsbut despite our short history,wehave a numberof accomplishments. Since the

commencementofactivitiesin2012,CSSGhassuccessfullyplacedeighteenadultswithmentorsandplacedinfulltimejobsall

overDelhi.SofarfifteenindividualshavebeenplacedinthekitchensofsomeofthebestrestaurantsinDelhi,whileoneyoungman

wasplacedatadancecompany,anotheratacomputerdesigncompanyandanotherwithinthefashionindustry.Additionally,we

havehostedseveralhighprofileeventssofar.CSSGhashadtheopportunitytoworkwithvariousMichelinchefstotrainouryouth

andraiseawarenessoftheimportanceofthecreativesectorshereinIndia.

Our History

CSSGwasfoundedin2011byAnandKapoortoaidunderprivilegedyoungadultsthroughskillstrainingandmentorshipwithinthe

creativesectors.AnandfoundthatIndiahadanalarminglackofsupportforyoungindividualsastheytransitionintotheiradult

life–especiallyforthoselookingtoworkinthecreativesectors.

Underhisguidance,CSSGbelievesthatcreativityleadstochangeandislookingtothecreativesectors-suchasFood,Literature,

Art,Design,Architecture,Fashion,Music,Dance,Theatre,Film,Broadcast,Advertising,TechnologyandPolicy-asanessential

channelforinfluencingpositivechangesinsocietiesandcommunities.

In2011,CSSGpairedwithRainbowHomesandPallavanjaliwhoprovidedyouthwhowerelookingtoworkinthecreativesectors.

In2012,CSSGbegantotraineightyouthinvariousculinaryfields.Allofthoseyouthwerethenplacedinjobs–rangingfromsome

ofDelhi’sbestrestaurantstofashiondesignfirms–wheremanyofthemremaintoday.Thiscontinuedin2013.

CSSG Programmes

CSSG aims to build awareness and identify talented youthovereighteenwhoarelookingforachancetoapplytheircreative

abilities.Ourtargetpopulationisnormallyinavulnerablesituationsincetheyarealreadytoooldforsocietyingeneral,andmany

non-profitsinparticular,buttooyoungtohavesettledintoacareer.OnceayouthjoinsCSSG,weprovideintensiveeducation and

traininginthecreativecareerpathofinterest:Food,Literature,Art,Design,Architecture,Fashion,Music,Dance,Theatre,Film,

Broadcast,Advertising,TechnologyandPolicy.Theyhavethepossibilitytoparticipateinworkshopsandinteractivesessionsled

byexpertsfromaroundtheworld.Furthermore,weworkwiththemtoprovidecareer exposure and job placementinoneofour

creativesectors.Finally,CSSG youth will be paired with a mentorwhowillprovideguidancethroughouttheentireprocess.

1. AWARENESS BUILDING & TALENT IDENTIFICATION (AB & TI)

The“AwarenessBuilding&TalentIdentification”programmehastwomainobjectives.Ontheonehanditpromotestheimportance

ofprovidingopportunitiesinthecreativesectorstounderprivilegedyouth.Ontheotherhand,itaimsatidentifyingcreativeyouth

fromIndia,thatbecauseoftheirunderprivilegedsituationdonothavetheopportunitytodeveloptheirskillsinthoseareas.

Thus,theideabehindtheAB&TIprogrammeistoraiseawarenessaboutthepotentialtheseyouthhaveandthenecessityto

providethemwithvaluableopportunities.Itisthefirstlinkbetweenthemandthecharity,andwillinitiatethewholeprocessof

education,training,careerexposure,jobplacement,aswellasmentoring.

Forthatpurpose,CSSGworkswithothercharities(SuchasRainbowHomes)toidentifythoseindividualssuitableforaplacement

within thecreativesectors.Althoughwearealsoexploringotheravenues,collaboratingwith ‘feedercharitiesmeans thatwe

workwithyoungadultswhohavealreadyreceivedsupport,haveanindividuallifeplanandtheirneedsandabilitiesarealready

identified.Participantsneedtobeaged18andthereforelegallyentitledtowork.

2. EDUCATION & VOCATIONAL TRAINING (E & VT)

Webelievethatagoodtraditionaleducationisanecessarypartofameaningfulemployment,andthereforeweencouragethe

youthweworkwithtocontinuetheirschooling,nomatterwhatleveltheyareat.Stilltraditionaleducationdoesnotworkforall

learnersandonitsownisoftennotenoughtoprepareforameaningfulcareer.

TheE&VTprogrammeaimsatprovidingyoungadultswiththelong-termabilitytothinkcreativelyandtheskillsneededtoearn

gainfulemploymentintheshort-term.Indoingso,wedon’tseektoreplacebutinsteadtosupplementthetraditionaleducation

systeminawaythatmaximizesitsefficacyontheyoungpeopleweserve.

3. CAREER EXPOSURE & PLACEMENT (CE & P)

CSSGfocusesonmatchingdisadvantagedyouthwithhighqualityjobsthatareintrinsicallyinteresting.Todosoweworkwitha

youthtolearntheirinterests,trainthemintherelevantskills,pairthemwithalikemindedmentorandprovidethemwithacareer

opportunity.Wedon’tgiveoutjobs,wegiveoutopportunities.Wefollowastrictproceduretoensurethattheyoungmenand

womenweworkwithreceivethebestopportunitiesopentothem.

Oncetheprocessoftalentidentification,trainingandeducationhavebeencarriedout,theCE&Pprogrammewillbeincharge

ofbuildingonthefilesandplantheindividual“careerexposure”needsaswellaspotentialplacementinthecreativesectorsfor

eachoftheCSSGyouth.CSSGwillhelptheyoungadultsamongotherthingstoprepare,fortheirupcominginterviewswitha

prospectemployerinthefieldoftheirchoice.Onceselected,theprogrammewillgivefollowupsoneachparticipantsindividual

developmentplans,whichwillhavetoincludeaprogressionprogrammewherebytheyoungpeopleareguaranteedadefinitive

advancement.

4. COUNSELLING & MENTORING (C & M)

CSSGhasdecidedtoinvestintomentoringtheiryouthfortwomainreasons.

Firstly,webelievethatthekeytoanymentorpairingiscreatingabondthatisdeeperthanworkbutaboutsharingdreamsand

aspirations.Ourmentorsarethepointpersonwhenitcomestoensuringthatacareerismeaningful,interesting,andrewarding.

Allourmentorsareprofessionalsinthespecificfield.

Secondly,counsellingalsoensuresthatkidsdoreceivesupportnotjustintheareastheyareinterestedinbutitgoesfurtherto

trytoadvicethemonotherissuesthatindirectlyinfluencetheirlivesandfuturecareers.Aspartofthecounselling,theC&M

programmewillconductregularsitevisitswhiletheyoungadults.Atthesametimeparticipantsareresponsibleformaintaining

theirownrecordsandupdatingCSSGontheirprogressandanyongoingchallengesandgeneralpastoralcare.Thisworkisdonein

collaborationwiththehomestheycomefrom.

OVERALL GOAL (2015 – 2020)

Vocational School of Excellence

CSSGultimatemissionistoprovideaSchoolofExcellencetothoseinneedofassistanceinordertogivethemtheopportunity

toreceivethebestqualityvocationaltraininginthecreativeareas,inanengaginglearningenvironmentinordertomaximizeall

students’employability.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE (2015)

UnderprivilegedyouthinterestedinpursuingcareersinthecreativesectorareidentifiedbyCSSGwiththesupportofitspartner

associations inDelhi. Their skills, aptitudes and interests are analysed to decide togetherwhat kind of education, vocational

training,careerexposure, jobplacement,counsellingandmentoringwillbeprovidedaccordinglytotheirspecificneeds.Thus,

CSSGstrengthensanddevelopsitsmissionthroughtheimplementationofninespecificactivitiesthatfallunderthecoordination

ofthefourkeyprogrammesofthecharity.Finally,womenempowermentandgenderissueswillbethecentralthemeofallCSSG

actionstakenforwardduringtheyear.

EXPECTED OUTCOMES (2015)

1. Buildawarenessabouttheimportanceofgivingopportunitiestounderprivilegedyouthinthecreativesectors

andidentifytalentstobesupported

2. Anartexhibitionandoutreachactivitytoeducatechildrenaboutwomenempowerment,genderandinequality.

3. Athreemonthstrainingschoolthatwillprovide30-50youngunderprivilegedadultswithaqualification

certificateandtherebyimmenselyincreasetheirchancesonthejobmarket.

4. Severalcareerexposureandplacementactivitiesforouryouthtomeetleadingrolemodelsfromtheculinary

sectortogetthemfurtherinspired.

5. MonthlyinspirationtalksforCSSGyouthinareasoftheirinterestwithprofessionalsandexpertsineachofthe

creativesectorareas.

6. Counselling&supportavailabletoeachCSSGyouthaccordinglytotheirspecificneeds.

7. Abigsistermentorprojecttoprovidementoringsupportforyoungwomenbetween16and25yearsold,with

thesupportofSHEROES.

2015 – Year of Women

2015willbetheYearofWomen,aimingtogiveyoungwomenfromunderprivilegedbackgroundsavoice-Workingwithyoung

women,CSSGhasfoundthattheyoftenhavenorolemodelstoinspirethemtoachievetheirfullpotential.TocelebratetheYear

ofWomenandtogainfundsforthecharity’scauseinordertomakeadifferencetothelivesofseveralyoungwomenwehaveput

togetheraseriesoffundraisingandoutreacheventsincludingDinners,Masterclasses,MentorProgrammeandanArtExhibition.

Partnerships

CSSGhashadthepleasureofpartneringwithavarietyoftalentedpeopleandorganisations.Withouttheirgeneroussupport,we

couldnotdotheworkthatwedo.Individualsandorganizationscanpartnerwithusinoneofthreeseparateways:

1) asFacilitationPartners,helpingusensurethatweareprovidinghighqualityservice.ThesecharitiesorNGOs

aregenerousenoughtoprovideuswithsupport,guidance,andadvice.Inmanycases,weworktogetherwith

asimilargroupofyouthandcontinuethegoodworktheyhavestartedbutareunabletocontinuedueto

varioussocial,legalandfinanciallimitations;

2) ProjectPartnersworkingwithusascreativeorganizationshiring,mentoring,training,andfurtherdeveloping

theyouththatweserve;and/or

3) EventPartners,supportingtheprojectsdesignedatraisingawarenessorfundsforCSSG.

Fundraising

CSSGhasbeenusinghighprofileeventsforfundraising,suchasCharityDinners,ArtExhibitions,ArtAuctions,SpeakersPlatforms,

amongothers,aswebelievethatitprovidespeoplewithaone-offexperienceinexchangefortheirmoneyandsupport,rather

thanjustaskingpeoplefordonations.Thisapproachhasproventobesuccessfultous,asitcreatesopportunitiestobuildnetworks,

showresultsandraiseawarenesswhilstsimultaneouslygeneratingmoneyforthecharity.Furthermore,from2015onwards,CSSG

willstartapproachingdifferentstakeholderstoaskforfundsforspecificprogramsoractivitiesaswellasexploringopportunities

withinCSRfunding.

1. AWARENESS BUILDING & TALENT IDENTIFICATION PROGRAMME (AB & TI)

Intheperiod2015–2020,thisprogrammewillbeconsolidatedasapillarforthelongrunsustainabilityofCSSGprogrammesand

activities.Specificallyfortheyear2015,theAB&TIprogrammewillworkontwomainareas:generalactivitiestobuildawareness

andtoidentifytalents;aswellasanartexhibitionandoutreachactivity.Womenempowermentandgenderissueswillbeageneral

themethatwillbetakenforwardineachoftheactivities.

1.1. Awareness Building & Talent Identification Activities

During2015CSSGwillworkonbuildingawarenessabout the importanceof supportingunderprivilegedyouth in the

1.2. Art Exhibition and Outreach

Throughoutthepastfewyearswehavefoundthatmanyyoungwomanrefusetobeopentoopportunitieswithincertain

sectorsduetostrongstereotypesandmisinformation.“Thefoundationsforstereotypesingenderrolesarelaidthrough

earlygendersocialization.Gendersocializationistheprocessbywhichpeoplelearntobehaveinacertainway,asdictated

bysocietalbeliefs,values,attitudesandexamples(UNICEF2007).”

AnArtExhibitionandOutreachactivitywilltakeplace.Theworksofrenownedartistsinrelationtogenderissueswill

bring togetheropen lettersbygirls, talkingabout futureaspirationsandexpectationswith the focuson theevolving

rolesofwomaninthefuture.ThewritingswillbeofyoungwomeninIndiaandtheUnitedKingdomwiththepossibility

ofinvolvinglettersfromgirlsfromotherpartsoftheworld.OurExhibitionandOutreachactivityistoencouragegirlsto

speakofhopes,dreamsandambitionsandsimultaneouslytoeducatethemongenderissuesandopenupthesubject

ofgenderand inequality.This, in turn,willbeusedasa tool toeducatechildrenbothmaleandfemale fromvarious

socioeconomicbackgrounds.ThisventureissupportedbyANewDirectioninLondon(acharitythatsupportstheuseof

thecreativesectorsincreatingjob)andwehavehiredFLOWIndia(anartseducationprovider)toundertakeworkshops

withagroupofschoolsrangingfromtopendschoolstoNGO/residentialschoolsforextremelydisadvantagedchildren.

ThefundsraisedbyCSSGwillensurethattheserviceprovidersareabletoimplementthecoursedesigned.

2. EDUCATION & VOCATIONAL TRAINING PROGRAMME (E & VT)

CSSGwillworkontwomainE&VTactivitiesin2015.Thecharitystartdoingeducationalandvocationaltrainingactivitiesandwill

launchathreemonthscoursefor30-50individualsinthehospitalitysector.Ourultimateobjectivemissionby2020istoprovide

aschoolofexcellencetothoseinneedofassistanceinordertogivethemtheopportunitytoreceivethebestqualityvocational

traininginanengaginglearningenvironmentinordertomaximizeallstudents’potentialforemployability.

2.1. Education & Vocational Training Activities

SinceeducationandvocationaltrainingofunderprivilegedyouthisinthecentreofCSGGwork,activitiesintheseareas

willbelaunchedbythecharityin2015aimingtostartbuildingtowardstheoverallgoal.

Thecoursewillbedesignedasthreeseparatemodules:housekeeping,frontofhouse,andtheKitchen.Thekitchencourse

willberunbyTanteMarieata leadinghospitalityschool.Postcompletionofthecourse,theyoungmenandwomen

will receivean internationallyrecognizablequalificationcertificate.ThefundsraisedbyCSSGwillensurethatall fees,

transportandstipendsarecovered.Wearefurtherexploringtheopportunitytocreatefurthershort-termplacementsfor

theseyoungmenandwomenataleadinghotelchain(changetoTheLeelagroupofhotelsonceconfirmed).

3. CAREER EXPOSURE & PLACEMENT PROGRAMME (CE & P)

Intheperiod2015–2020,theCE&PprogrammewillworktowardstheconsolidationofitsintermediaryrolebetweentheCSSG

youthandtheemployers.Furthermore,itwillcontinuebringingsuitableemployersonboard.Overall,thecharityhasfoundthat

mostemployersarereceptivetotheideaofhelpingunderprivilegedyouth,butsomeorganizations,likeChezNini,L’Opera,Sweet

NothingandTresdoanespeciallyexcellentjobdevelopingyoungmenandwomenfromdifficultbackgrounds.For2015,CSSGwill

strengthenitscareerexposureandplacementactivitiesandwillinitiatemonthlyinspirationaltalkswithfamousleaderstobring

motivationalrolestheyouthmightbeinterestedon.

3.1. Career exposure and placement activities

Wewillbereachingouttoapproximately50underprivilegedyouthforan interactionwitheight leadingfemalechefs

at an organic farm. The aim is to create a trulymemorablemotivating, fulfilling, andhopefully life-changing day for

50underprivilegedchildren.Theywill interactwiththechefsthroughaseriesofexercises–harvesting,planting,and

cooking.Thechildrenrangefromthoseinextremepovertytothosewhohavebeenabandonedandtheyallliveandstudy

inthehomesweworkwith.This“field”tripisstructuredtoensurethatitleavesthechildrenwithamemorableandlife

reaffirmingexperienceforthembutalsoshowthemadifferentangleoffarming,aswellasthefarmtotablepath.The

fundsraisedbyCSSGwillensurethatinteractioncantakeplace.

3.2. Monthly inspirational talks

CSSGwillconductmonthlyinspirationaltalksforthoseyoungadultsthatwouldbealreadypartofanyoftheprogrammes.

Everymonth,aleadingexpertinanyofthefourteencreativesectorswillbeinvitedasaguestspeaker,toconductan

inspirationaltalktothoseyouthadultsregisteredasbeneficiariesofanyoftheCSSGprogramme.Westronglybelieve

thattheactivitywillhaveadirecteffectintheirdevelopmentandatthesametimeitwillalsoinfluenceindirectlytheway

otherareasofourworkwillachievepositiveresults.

4. COUNSELLING & MENTORING PROGRAMME (C & M)

InordertoensuretheefficacyofCSSGwork,regularcounsellingandmentoringhasbeenputinplace.Duringtheperiod2015–

2020theorganizationwillstrengthenthecounsellingandmentoringprovided.

In2015,CSSGwillkeeponprovidingitsyouthwithcounsellingandsupport.Atthesametime,aBigSisterMentorProjectwillbe

created in partnership with Sheroes.

4.1. Counselling & support

During2015,CSSGwill ensure thateveryyouth that isbeing supportedby theorganization receives counsellingand

support during the whole process.

Westronglybelievethatallowingouryouthtohaveaccesstocounsellingandsupportwillstrengthenothercomponents

ofCSSG’swork.Atthesametime,suchpersonalizedsupportwillallowtheorganizationtofolloweachspecificyouth

profileandensurethattheircareersaregoingintherighttrack.Givingcounsellingandsupportwillbeanongoingactivity

tobecarriedoutbytheorganizationforthelongrun.

4.2. Big Sister Mentor project

ABigSisterMentorprojectwillbecreatedinpartnershipwithSheroes.Sheroesisanorganisationthatconnectswoman

toworkopportunitiesandcareersupportgroups.Sheroeshasareachof300,000womenin2,000companiesinover

65cities.CSSGhaspartneredwiththemtobeabletoaccesstheirdatabaseofwomaninordertodeployamentorship

programmeforyoungwomanbetween16and25.Theprojectwillberunthruavarietyofoutletsincludinginternetand

aseriesofworkshopsandcareerfairs.Thetargetistoreach1millionyoungwomenwithin3years.Thefundsraisedby

CSSGwillensurethatapilotprojectcanbeputintoplacefollowedbythelargerscaleinitiative.
