Pizá Fue firmado con Sony Music Latin en el 2012 con apenas 6 meses de comenzado el proyec-to.

Llegaron a sonar su sencillo ”7 años de amor “ en la radio en prácticamente todas las emisoras y en algunas ocasiones la canción se podía escuchar en 2 emisoras a la misma vez de la popularidad que tenia.

Han tocado en las principales tarimas y eventos del país como Bahía Urbana, Coliseo Roberto Clemente, Palacio de Recreación y Deportes en Mayaguez, Con-

El grupo fue fundado por Raul Pizá en el 2011, en el 2014 se une Víctor Marini bajista, produc-tor y arreglista del grupo.

PIZÁ se compone de 6 in-tegrantes Raúl Pizá (Cantante y Compositor), Víctor Marini ( Productor y Bajista), José Ramos (Saxofón), Tanicha López (Coris-ta), Christian Negrón (KAPI) (Per-cusión y Batería), Pierre Bou Salce-do (Guitarrista).

PIZÁ is an Electro/Funk group founded in 2011 by Raúl Pizá sing-

er and composer of the band. Raúl came from singing reggaeton and

collaborating with other genres. In his search for inspiration he tryied

to make new music, always thinking about making his own musical

genre and that was his sole purpose in life. With that in mind he start-

ed composing Hip Hop, Samba, Pop, Electronic, Dance, Nu-Disco and

other genres trying to search for that perfect sound.

In his search he finished a 7 track demo that he himself started

giving to friends, family members and anyone that lent they’re ears.

After a few months of knocking doors, Sony Music Latin heard about

PIZÁ through a friend and they called the singer Raúl to set up a meet-

ing and see for themselves what PIZÁ was all about. In mid 2012 Sony

Music Latin signed PIZÁ as an international act with they’re label and

quickly started to begin the process of recording they’re first album

called Surreal. After theyre first album it had alot of success on the

local market and even attracted listners from diverse countries like

Brasil and Europe.

After awhile they started playing alot of shows, playing in the

most prestigious venues in Puerto Rico gaining notoriety for they’re

unique sound and the singers presence and energy, that kept the au-

diences coming back and back again. In early 2014 PIZÁ joined forc-

es with Victor Mariní very well recognized musician and friend. They

started to collaborate together creating a great chemistry together

and quickly began to add more musicians like Corists, Sax player and

a new guitarrist by the name of Pierre Bou Salcedo who with his par-

ticular style gave PIZÁ that sound that they were searching for. Now

they are working on theyre new EP which will be out in late 2016 and

playing live shows to better expose themselves.
