New Deadline Date to receive applications is May 15th due to changes in Institution requirements. All documents must be received by the due date of May 15th this includes transcripts for current college and university students. Secondary Students Only – only secondary students have the opportunity to defer their funding for one year. Robin Tinney, from the Bancroft area who now lives in Toronto, is proposing that all Algonquin Artists come together. His hope is to organize a group that would contribute

Algonquin art to an exhibition at the Art Gallery of Bancroft for the whole month of August 2016.

This exhibition would draw attention to the artistic ability of Algonquin people.

The Algonquin Way Cultural Centre is seeking a qualified individual to clean the Heritage building and Museum. The successful individual must be bondable and provide a clean C-PIC – Vulnerable Sector Scan. It is expected that the selected individual will work within regular business hours.

Remuneration: $11.25/hour – 6 hours per week Anticipated Start Date: April 22nd, 2016 Contracted Period: April 22nd, 2016 – March 31, 2017

Duties & Expectations will include:

Sweep/vacuum/wash floors

Wipe & dust washroom and work areas

Clean washroom

Clean Windows

Dust museum displays

Must be able to take initiative and follow instruction

Other annual cleaning

Frybread Pizza with a Twist

Ingredients 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast 1 teaspoon oil 1 cup warm milk 2 peppers 1 tsp salt 2 onions 1 teaspoon baking powder 2 cups hot and spicy barbecue sauce 2 1/2 cups flour Spaghetti sauce Shredded mozzarella cheese.

Directions: Combine flour, salt, oil, powder, sugar and milk. Combine well and make baseball size balls. Roll out into large disks...fry in oil...med temp... do not let oil smoke! Cut chicken into small pieces as well as onion and pepper. Preheat oven to 350. Sautee in skillet with barbecue sauce until it begins to brown. Be sure the chicken is cut small or it will not cook when you sautee it. Heat spaghetti sauce in a small pan and pour over bread. Add chicken mix, and add cheese.. Heat in oven until cheese melts!
