PHILIPPINE INTER-COLLEGIATEDEBATING CHAMPIONSHIP
2016OFFICIAL INVITATION
LETTERfrom theTournamentDirector
Greetings of Peace!
Since 2001, the Philippine Inter-Collegiate Debating Championship has been the largest national debate tournament in the Asian Parliamentary format. It is at the forefront of efficiency and prestige. Ever since its inception, the tournament has consistently provided a meticulously-planned program that enriches both individual growth and societal development. It is a platform for developing ideas through debate. Without doubt, the tournament has earned its outstanding reputation and the confidence of both corporate and educational institutions.
The tournament is composed of 7 diverse preliminary rounds. This is capped off with the finals series, where teams will battle each other head-on for the elusive National title. On top of this, the tournament has three social events that epitomize the tournament's role as the center of the brightest minds of the generation. With years of tournament organization backing the Board of Directors, the tournament is sure to satisfy the debater's love for fun and booze.
On its 15th year, the Philippine Inter-Collegiate Debating Championship is only getting better. We are inviting you to PIDC 2016, from April 15 to 20, 2016 at the University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City. Should you have any concerns or queries regarding the tournament, you may contact Francine Malantic, our Communications Director, at 0928 559 1105.
We look forward to seeing you at PIDC 2016.
