• 1. Pls use the device under the guidance of doctors and professionals.

• 2. In order to better set the insulin dosage, pls test your blood sugar at least 3 days before using the device: before and after 3 meals 、 before sleeping 、 3 am and when get up.

• 3. Use rapid acting insulin and short-acting insulin instead of long-acting insulin one day before wearing the insulin pump.

• 4.Check blood glucose frequently during the first week wearing the pump (before and after 3 meals 、 before sleeping 、 3 am and when get up) in order to better setting the pump.

• 5. Avoid using the device while bathing, swimming, strenuous exercise or in high temperature, strong electromagnetic environment.

• 6. Store insulin pens and hypoglycemic drugs to avoid some unexpected emergencies.

• 7. Always pay attention to the alarms, check the pump woking status and check remaining insulin while using the pump to avoid problems.

1. Preparations1. Preparations

• Get all meterials ready: insulin pump 、 reservoir 、 infusion tube 、 battery 、 battery key 、 regular disinfection appliances 、 rapid acting or short acting insulin ，waterproof tape.

• The insulin should be at room temperature at least 30 minutes before filling the reservoir.

• Pls use rapid acting insulin and short-acting insulin.

• Unscrew the battery compartment cap with the battery key, insert the AAA battery to the battery compartment according to the direction showed on the insulin pump. Then wears the cap again with the key.

Warning: 1.Pay attention to the inserting direction of the battery, otherwise, there may cause damages to the insulin pump.

Lock and unlock the screen

• From the home screen, press ▲ firstly and then ▼ to unlock the screen.

• Lock the screen in the same way.

• From the home screen, press "ACT" to enter the main menu ，use ▲▼ to scroll to "settings” ， press ACT to select "Date/Time” ， press ▲▼ to set the time and date, press ACT to confirm.

• 2.press ACT to select ”basal rate”.

• 3.Set the basal dose by pressing ▲ ▼, press ACT to come to next time segment.

• 4.Check "total" to see if it is right.

• 5.Press ESC to save and exit.

• 2. Select "basal" from the main menu and select "Refer. Basal”.

• 3. Press "▲ ▼" to set the total basal and press ACT to confirm.

• P.S."Time Adjust" is for time zone difference use. If no time zone differences, pls set "0h".

• 4. Press ACT to act.

• 5. Phray insulin pump will set basal rates automatically according to the total basal you set (this basal plan is under 24 segments).

• 2. Press ACT to select "Bolus" from the main menu and ACT again to select "Normal Bolus”.

• 3. Press "▲ ▼" to set the bolus and press ACT to confirm. The screen shows: "Press ACT to Start or ESC to Return", press ACT to start bolus.

In the process of normal bolus, press ESC can stop infusion.

1.Start Square Wave Press ACT to select "Square Wave" from Bolus menu. Scroll through Square Wave Menu and press ACT and ▲▼ to set the Units/ Duration. Press ACT to start square wave. The pump home screen shows: SQUARE WAVE

2.Cancel Square Wave Enter "Square Wave" menu according to the above steps. press ACT to select "Cancel SQUARE"...

Warning: The maximum units of Square Wave Bolus is limited by the bolus limits. Min.units for square wave is 2u; Duration can be set 0~240 minutes.

• 1.From the home screen, press "ACT" to enter the main menu.

• 2.Scroll to "reservoir" by pressing ▲ ▼, press ACT to select "rewind".

• 3.Press ACT to rewind.

• 4.While the pump finishes rewinding, it will shows on the screen: "Rewind Over. Pls Fix Reservoir".

Warning: Don't make any operation until the pump finishes rewinding.

• Take out the reservoir, push and pull the plunger several times, take off the plunger cap and take out the reservoir protective cap, put it in a clean place.

• Insert the needle of the reservoir into the insulin vial. Pressurise the vial by pushing the plunger down completely. (or invert the reservoir and allow the reservoir to fill. Gently pull the plunger, if necessary.)

• Remove any air bubbles from the reservoir by gently tapping the side and then slowly pushing plunger up a little.

• Remove the reservoir needle and wear the protective cap. Put the reservoir in a clean place.

Warning:1.The insulin should be at room temperature at least 30 minutes before filling the reservoir. 2.Wash hands thoroughly before any handling.3.Check if the reservoir package is intact and under guarantee

• Unscrew the pump compartment cap, insert the reservoir into the compartment, rotate the reservoir gently to fix well. Lock the reservoir with the compartment cap. Remove the reservoir protective cap and connect the reservoir to the infusion tube.

• Press ACT to confirm fixing the reservoir ， the pump screen will come to exhausting menu automatically. Press ACT to exhaust, while there are drops at the end of the infusion tube, press ACT to finish exhausting.

Warning: pls make sure the needle of the infusion tube is not on human body while exhausting.

• Wash your hands thoroughly.

• Clean the injection site with alcohol. Remove the needle cap and the cover of the tape. Pinch the injection site gently and insert the infusion needle. Fix the infusion set with the waterproof tape carefully on the body. And the pump home screen shows: BASAL RATE...

IMPORTANT:

Choose a site free of lumps, bumps, bruises, scars and tattoos.

Avoid inserting the infusion set within 5cm of the belly button.

Remember to rotate and cleanse insertion sites. Recommended possible sites:

Abdomen, Outer thigh, Upper buttock, Arm
