WAYFINDING: OUR PROCESS

Wayfinding systems require thoughtful planning and intelligent design. A PSCO team comprised of project managers, designers and engineers will work with architects and facilities managers to survey the facility, analyze traffic flow, chart a course, identify key points and detail strategies for navigation.

Ideally, wayfinding should serve a dual purpose: to provide directional information while reinforcing your brand image through the design aesthetic. We can develop a sign portfolio unique to your environment. Once fabricated, directional, identifiers, maps and directories will be installed, according to plan, by our installation experts.

KentuckyOneOur end to end process is how we added value (at every level) to KentuckyOne’s central brand, providing cohesion at each location. PSCO successfully converted (17) hospitals, (10) Medical Centers, and (65) Primary Care offices between February 2014 and November 2014. At each location, they received new signage packages which included channel letters, high rise letters, pylons, monuments, directionals, wayfinding and much more!

To date, Philadelphia Sign has created and installed over 21,663 signs at over 545 sites, and in more than 43 different states for Hertz Corporation. When Hertz unveiled its new “Ultimate Choice” program entrusting PSCO with the roll out of their new signature signage, site surveys were critical as each floor in a parking garage has different visibility and installation issues. The PSCO team moved quickly to coordinate all the details, adjusting to meet changing requirements.

Northwell HealthNorthwell Health turned to PSCO to manufacture and install signage at 6 of their locations in New York. PSCO has since become an integral part of Northwell Health’s brand transition team. Once the surveys, assessments, designs, and documentation for the new identity were complete, PSCO’s role was to translate the program for exterior and interior signage. At each location, we received new signage packages which included channel letters, high rise letters, pylons, monuments, directionals, and wayfinding.
