Alcohol Resistant Direct Thermal Label

Problem: When medications are added to an IV bag, the IV bag is sprayed with alcohol for sterilization purposes. The alcohol will cause the regular direct thermal label on the IV bag to turn black.

These two labels have been wiped with an alcohol pad. The regular direct thermal label (shown on the top) turns black. The alcohol-resistant direct thermal label (shown on the bottom) is not effected by alcohol and the bar code is scanned and read correctly.
