34. Organizer of Community Action to develop “National guidelines for assessment and

treatment of overweight and obesity”. The guidelines focused on the role of the

Primary Care Practitioner in treating and referring overweight and obese patients. As

a Board member of EMASO and in collaboration with Bariatricians, Internal

Medicine Specialists, Surgeons and Public Health Specialist from fourteen

governorates.
