Life Pure Water:an ethical choice

is bottled water with a difference. At its heart is a simple promise. For every litre you drink, promises to fund the delivery of at least a litreof clean drinking water to a community in thedeveloping world via our independent charity,drop4drop.

Bottled from beneath certified organic land, is carbon neutral at source and all our materials from lid to label are 100% recyclable.

Our eco-bottle is the lightest weight PET bottle onthe market so customers are significantly reducing their plastic waste.

With nationwide distribution and our state-of-the-art bottling facility, has been the water partner at many outdoor events and festivals since launch in 2006. Our ethics, quality, service and competitive price has made a natural choice for any festival with an ethical interest.

By choosing in 2008, Peppermint bars donated over 20,000litres of clean drinking water to communities in the developing world and saved half a tonne of plastic by using the eco-bottle.

Reduce, Re-use, Recycle

Any large scale event or festival creates a massive amount of recyclable waste. Life is passionate about recycling and want to help encourage others too.

Together with Peppermint Bars, we are offering a dedicated recycling area on-site where revellers can return their empty bottles and cans in return for sweatbands, smiles and self-satisfaction. We offer a dedicated team of friendly folks to receive and sort the materials ready for the waste management team to collect.

We are not only helping with the logistics of recycling, but also there to help inform and educate people about recycling and what they can do to reduce their own personal waste.

Recycled Art

Life is committed to recycling and we are always interested in in-novative communication. With that in mind we have developed our recycled art project which will help festivals promote and or-ganise recycling whilst provid-ing an interactive artistic public space.

We have recruited the award-winning Brighton-based art collec-tive Circus Kinetica to work with us. They produce wind and rain powered automata using recycled and reclaimed materials, ranging from discarded packaging to defunct musical instrument parts.

They will be working to create a bespoke piece of public art, tailored for each festival, from recycled Life water bottles, beer cans and other reclaimed bits and pieces. You can watch a film of their first collabora-tion with Life at Beachdown Festival 2008 here:

Mobile Workshop

In addition to the bespoke artinstallation we also offer festi-vals the option of the Life Re-cycled Art Tent. A mobile centre for sustainably aware

and innovative art, design and entertainment from which we will run workshops and give demonstrations. Available activi-ties range from face painting and recycled paper origami to kit making and jewellery.

In accordance with the ethos of Life, the structure is as sustain-able as possible incorporating alternative power sources and rainwater collection to power sculptures and provide water for the camp.

The tent will serve as a hub for recycling, where members of the public can bring their bottles and cans which will then be made into sculptures for the event.
